Ruby cried through out the entire process, and she felt really bad that such things had happened to her, but then Xavier was close to her side, he always remained by her side, applying a small squeeze on her fingers.

The doctor had not only treated her wound, but also give her drugs to take to make her ease the pain for a while. When the doctor left, the lady was still on the bed, and she feared for her safety because the pain had consumed yet too much.

"Sorry about that, Ruby," Xavier muttered out softly as he sat on the bed close to Ruby's bed.

"It is alright, what is my fate now?" the lady asked as she held her breathe tight, not knowing what to do about it.

Xavier glared at Ruby for a very long time, it is now his responsibility to look after her. Well, he can't still gulp down the fact that the lady had tried to kill him, like what the fuck did he ever do to the lady he demanded rolling his eyes in anticipation.
