"Why are you saying sorry?" I asked Kennedy while eating french fries with barbecue flavor.

I wonder hat Kennedy is doing now. My two eyebrows almost met again in astonishment. We had met and talked before, but not once did he look in my direction.

Kennedy took another deep breath before he decided to answer my question.

"Nothing, Maxxpain. It's just a slip of the tongue." Kennedy smiled at me.

Kennedy smiled at me, but I quickly noticed that the smile he was showing now in front of me was different. Did something bad happen to him?

Kennedy returned to silence after he spoke. I just continued my meal while looking at him.

I was stunned by the food when someone suddenly pulled my hair from behind me. Turning around, I saw Raelynn lying down and raising an eyebrow as she looked at me. Claud and Roselle stood on either side of him.
