Mr Johnson after noticing that his daughter was in that state tried to convince her on why he did not want her to know about her mother's death on time. At that particular time, she did not want to talk to any one. Mr Johnson seeing this could understand perfectly how she felt at that moment and decided to let her be for a moment.

That was the only solution for her to be fine and calm down her self. Because if they kept on insisting at that time, it will be a different thing . So it was good to give her a little bit of space.

Any way, it was a very good idea. But after some time she came back to her self as she was now back to normal as she was very happy as before and learnt how to take things normally the way life had given it to her.

How ever, the death of Helen marked the beginning of Tristan's stubbornness and bad manners as he started disrespecting people, being rude and had some bad behaviors that he had never had before.

How ever, the bad manners persisted because Mr Johnson was so busy with the work that he had just had since he was now the mother and the father in the house. so he had to make sure that he takes care of every thing in the house.

Any way, Tristan was a very good person but if he was acting like that he had his reasons for acting like that.

Melanie still on her way going back home was thinking about all her troubles and all the problems that she will still go back to her house and meet. The same problems every blessed day. She just hoped that what she was living was a dream and that one day, she will finally wake up from the dream.

How ever, she was still on her way going home. She saw different people as she was on her way going home.

Melanie when she was almost arriving at her house, she felt like some one was following her when she was already in her street. When she turned her head facing behind her, she could not see any body. The whole street was calm and there was no one on the road.

As she turned back her head to continue her way to her house, she saw that there was some one who was there no one behind her.

After some time, she still had the same feeling like some one was following her. She turned immediately with the speed of light. But to her greatest surprise, she did not see any one brhj you her. Any way she just let it go.

" Oufff ! May be it is just my imagination and nothing else. Let me just hurry up to the house. Dad and mom must be so worried by now. " Melanie said as she hurriedly went back home. Once home, she turned again once more to check if there was some one behind her for the last time. But she did not see any one so she just opened the gate and entered.

As Melanie entered the compound, she saw all the two security man as well as all the body guards from the gate to the house. As she walked passed all of them, she saw that their faces were all so serious as usual. They all greeted her as usual as she was walking focusing on the direction leading to the living room.

Once Melanie had arrived the living room, she saw that there was no one there. She now decided to run straight to her bedroom so that no one to see here that she had entered the house. But to her greatest surprise, her father entered the house behind her.

" Young lady, where do you think you are going to ? " Mr Carter asked with a very huge voice which sounded more like an acho in Melanie's ears as he was talking to her.

" Mmmmmm..... Father, I went out to stroll a little bit. I was feeling very bored so decided to go out for a walk. " said Melanie replying her father with a very low voice not really knowing what to say as she was so scared about the kind of decision that her father will take for her.

She was very conscious that she had made a very bad thing so she did not want to say any thing that will hurt him and make him more mad at her.

But on the contrary, her father instead was so worried about her considering the fact that she was their only child and he did not want to loose her. Her father will never be able to bare the pains of loosing her for any reason. He did not want her to be hurt for any reason.

" Melanie, where did you go to ? Do you know you almost gave me a heart attack ? I was so scared about what could have happened to you. " Mr Carter said to Melanie with a very calm voice as he was trying make peace with her as well as to make her see reasons with him.

Melanie looking at her father and seeing him crying in front of her made her to feel pains right deep inside her heart as she felt so much pains seeing her father shading tears because of her.

Any way, she was feeling so bad at that point in time as she could understand all what her father was saying at that time. But there was nothing she could do at that time. There was the need for her to go out and meet up with other people as well as to make new friends.

So she had no choice than to do what she had just done.

" Please Melanie, next time you are going any where make sure you go along side with your body guards. They are the only people who can protect you from any person that is trying to harm you. " said Mr Carter to Melanie with a very calm voice as he was trying to convince her on why he has always wanted her be walking with body guards as well as he wanted the best and only the best for her no matter what happens to her one day.

" Melanie I want you to know that I am not doing this because I hate you or I want you to suffer. I am doing this because I am a very wealthy man and I am a well known politician. Any one might be after you simply because they all want my money. I know that one so well. You might not be seeing things now nor understand things now because you don't yet consider some certain things. " said Mr Carter to his only daughter Melanie as he really meant every single word that was coming out from his mouth and did not want any of the things that he was saying that day to be misunderstood by his daughter.

Mr Carter wanted to make every thing clear at that moment as he was bent on making sure that nothing happens to his only daughter for any reason.

At least, Melanie could listen to her father a little bit because, he has always created a little bit of time for her. He was at least the only person that could see reasons with her when she was down.

In order not to creat a greater scene, as well as to give him an answer that will not be so pleasant to his ears, Melanie decided not to just answer any thing that her father had said. As she was so upset as well. " Father, I think I will just go upstairs. I am tired. " Melanie said with a very low voice trying not to raise an argument not to make her father more upset with her.

As she did not want to say some that will hurt her father more upset nor to give him a heart attack. It was not an easy thing to do but it was very necessary at that point in time for her as she started going upstairs heading to her bed room.

As she was going upstairs, she remembered that she had not yet seen her mom home as she turned back and asked her dad.

" Father, I have not yet seen mother. She is not yet home right ? " Melanie asked with a very normal and with a very certain voice as she knew that what she was saying was right.

From the sound of her voice, it showed that she was trying to mock at her mother's absence which was a very normal thing for her since when she was still very little.

Her question was a satire on the part of her mother since she was not capable of being in her own house for more than thirty minutes. The only time she can be in he house is in the night and even though she is still very busy at that moment as she does not even know how her daughter was fairing.

All she knew was that her daughter lives under the same roof with her. And she provided her daughter with a life that no other kid can ever have. But what are all those things with out parents that can not create even a little time for you. It was so shameful on her part as she could not stand any where and talk about her parents happily just like all other parents talk about their own parents.

" Your mother is still at work. She will be coming home soon. " said Mr Carter with a very calm and subdued voice as he had already known the kind of thoughts that were already going through his daughter Melanie's head. He had already known that Melanie was so upset with them for not always being there for her and him saying that again will just light up the anger that was sleeping in her at that particular moment.

He was right as Melanie was not happy hearing that but she was already very use to what she was always doing to her keeping her lonely and not showing her the motherly love that she was supposed to be showing her every day, every moment, every minute and every moment like every other mother will do.

" Yes I knew it. As usual, it is not a new thing. " said Melanie to her father with a very loud voice as she was shouting out with anger not being happy with every thing that her father was telling her as well as with what her mother was doing to her. It hurt her so much but she felt like her mother loved and cherished her job and position as a politician im the society more than her own daughter.

It was not a good thing to think at all because it was not just funny for her at all. It was not just funny because at least she could have had a little bit of shame and conscience considering the fact that she has never had time for her own daughter.

Bit since the kind of mother that God had given her is the way she is, very interested in her job and her position as a politician in the society more than her own family and most especially her own only daughter who is supposed to mean every to her. But since she is the way she is, what is more important to her and means every thing to her is her position as a politician in the society. She cares more about her political status and how people will see her from the out side and not about how Melanie was feeling about her.

Any way Melanie was already use to that attitude of hers. As she now started running going upstairs with the anger that had already nursed in her heart.

" Melanie, Please wait. " Said her father Mr Carter with shouting trying to cover up her mother so that she could now see reasons with her mother and understand why she was doing all that. But Melanie with that anger did not want to listen to any thing.

All she wanted at that point in time was to be left alone as she ran going upstairs towards the direction of her room. She was so disappointed with both her mother and her father. Most especially her mother.

Mr Carter was not just happy with what his wife was doing as well. To him, he saw that his wife was exaggerating with that her job issue. To her knew that her job is worth every thing to her. If that was the case she won't have gotten married in the first place. Rather than getting married and putting other people to such an endless suffering.

Mr Carter at that point in time had already put it in his head that , he was going to talk to her about the fact that she was not having time for their only daughter not to talk about having time for him. That was not just a good thing because Mr Carter was already very tired of covering her for every thing that she was doing that has been hurting their daughter from the unset.

" If I had known I could have ended all this from the unset and make her know her position in this house as a woman. But since I did not do that and instead allowed her to have her position as a big woman in the society, she now decided to continue until this state that she has become uncontrollable. " said Mr Carter with a very low voice talking to himself as he was not also happy as well with the kind of life that his wife was making his daughter to live as well as with all what his wife was doing to his daughter and he him self was suffering due to the way his wife was behaving and did not even have a little bit of time to satisfy his sexual desires as all she was thinking about was just about her Position up and down. And she also wanted to maintain her position no matter what.

At this state, she can no more be controlled as she was just at her work from morning to evening. She could even barely stay at home. The more her position was increasing, the more she was becoming more uncontrollable. Even he himself was not able to control him. How ever, there was the need for some one to put an end to every thing that she was doing at that moment.

" All these must end. " Said Mr Carter with so much anger in him as well as with so much determination. He was already so tired of all that her nagging attitude and snubbing attitude. So all that has to end.

Mr Carter had already made up his mind that he will not go to bed until his wife comes back home. He was just so angry that he could no longer hold it any more. He had already nursed the anger for so long. It was time for him to release the anger and make his wife know that he is not very happy with her as well as put her in her position.

Mr Carter wanted to make his wife to know her position as a wife in the house as well as to make her know that he is the man of the house and a man meaning he is automatically the head of the house so she was supposed to have at least a little bit of respect for him as her husband.

All these thoughts were going through his head as he was just so upset with his wife and her frequent nagging behaviors which are very alarming to the mind and to the soul. As well as to every other woman that surrounds her.

Melanie while running up stairs heading towards the direction of her bed room, she accidentally bumped into her nanny with out knowing. And all the the things that her nanny was carrying fell down.

" I am really sorry Melanie, I did not see you coming and I did not know that you were home. " her nanny said with so much fear and worry as she did not want that Melanie should be harmed by any way because if she was harmed, her boss might harm her. And Melanie's mom especially will just kill her. How ever, there was the need for her to know if Melanie was hurt or not and to also ensure that she had no scratch on her body.

Her nanny trying to pick up all the things that had fallen down so fast, she now noticed that Melanie was not talking to her. She now decided to raise her head up and look at her to see why she was not answering her.

Melanie was still sitting on the floor crying but her many had not yet noticed it. Her nanny lifting her head up noticed that she was crying.

" Melanie, You are crying. What's wrong with you ? O my dear child ! Come closer, come closer to me. Ok " said her nanny with a very soft and calm voice as she was trying to make her to calm down and tell her what was going on. As she was hugging her with a much love and passion as she was trying to make her to know that every thing will be fine as she was trying to tap her back slowly in order to make her to calm down.
