Chapter 17 Devastating Consequence

After mastering their training on Friday evening, Eric had instructed them all to go and get some rest.

They had their plan all set in motion. At midnight on Sunday, Eric and Maria would show up for the deal. While they kept Rafael distributed, Joshua and Julianna would use their mind tricks on him to confuse and weaken him. Then Marcus would sneak up from behind him and go in for the kill.

It was a simple plan that hopefully wouldn't go wrong.

When they left the cabin and got back into the well lit areas of the town, they had all decided that it would be safer if the three of them stayed together rather than separating, so they headed back to the house that used to belong to Marcus's grandfather.
