Chapter 26 Evil Has Not Died

"Eric! You need to calm yourself down, he made a mistake yes, but he is only following his heart." Maria stated, trying to talk some sense into him.

He was still wound up from Sunday night and he had not let the subject drop.

"Calm down. Calm down! Maria, our son could still be in danger because of him! If he would have just killed Rafael when he had the chance then this could have all been over!" Eric raged.

"So what? You're gonna punish him because he has heart! That's not right and you know it. He's just a boy who is trying his best to please everyone, and he didn't ask to be dragged into this world. You need to be more compassionate and understanding with him." She fired back, trying not to shout in order to not wake the baby up.

"I'm done with this! When he gets his ass back here then he is in big trouble and that is final!" Eric concluded, storming off into the back room.
