Chapter 49 Rights and Wrongs

Julianna huffed out a heavy breath as she finished up in the kitchen after making sure that Harrison and Tia were warmed up.

She was mad. Furious even. With Marcus for trying to push her into forgiving her brother when she wasn't ready, with Joshua for being so stupid and putting her through that...but mostly with herself.

Why? Because she was fed up with being too stubborn and her feelings preventing her from letting a subject drop. No matter how much she wanted to forgive her brother, her head just wouldn't allow her to. She hated fighting with Joshua, but it wasn't like he didn't deserve the cold shoulder. He needed to learn a valuable lesson that his life is worth more than their father's freedom.

But she felt like now was the perfect time to have a conversation with him - it didn't mean that she would forgive him just yet, it just meant that she was going to start trying to.
