Kelly felt a stinging headache and her eyes fluttered open but she shut them as quickly, the bright lights intensifying the pain. She groaned.
"Hey," Someone said softly.
She opened her mouth to speak but her throat felt scratchy, "water..." She managed to croak, her eyes still closed.
A hand held the back of her head helping her up, she opened her eyes again and they widened at the sight of the person who was helping her.
"Whaa... What are you doing here?" She asked.
He smiled at her, "water first remember?" She took small sip of the water from the glass placed on her lips and she felt better, she fell back on the bed.
"How're you feeling now? You've been in and out of unconsciousness for long enough now."
Kelly turned to Mike, "for how long?" She asked.
His face turned somber, "a month now." He said and Kelly's mouth hung in shock, she has been in an unconscious state for a month?
