Alexander Hanks had spent most of his life looking for the little girl who had saved him from death's clutches years ago and he swore to never let her go after finding her and now he has; the beautiful Jennifer Hardy but when he finds himself falling in love for her wallflower cousin instead, he begins to question certain things concerning what he remembers about the little girl who'd saved his life many years ago.

Kelly felt nothing but shock at his action, his lips were still on hers kissing but Kelly stood frozen at her spot, and as soon as he'd kissed her, he moved away from her, an utterly embarrassed look on his face.

He stared down at his feet, "I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me, I just... I'm sorry Kelly." He looked up at her with sincere apology, "that was very stupid of me, I don't even know why I did that, I promise I don't even think of you in that way, we're just friends of course and... Will you please forgive me?"

Kelly swallowed nervously, she was quite shaken and she found it hard to string the words together to form a sentence, he mistook her silence for anger.

"I've pissed you off." He said solemnly, "I am so sorry Kelly, you can't imagine how sorry I am. If you feel disrespected, that wasn't my intention, I don't even know what my intentions were but I meant nothing untoward..."
