Chapter 41 Chapter-40

I stood before my old house, my grandpa's house which I've been searching the buyer for a year. I couldn't believe my eyes that I'm standing here and he bought this.

It remained the same as I left. A country wooden house with rusty brown paint surrounded by green meadows which are covered by a big white fence and a barn, where I used to play with Grandpa's horse and hens and a large tree before my house where I used to play swing, my grandpa pushing it fastly. So that I can think I'm flying to the sky. I'll ask him to push more, he'll laugh and say that he is becoming old for it.

Everything flashed in my mind like a movie, the efforts he took to bond with me, many nights when I woke up screaming from the nightmares he rushed and held me in his arms. The first real smile he put on my face, the first proper meal I had with love. This is my heaven after I was rescued from hell.

I looked at Chris with a glassened eye, "When...when...did you buy this place?"
