RAY PARKER
I completed all the documentary work of the hospital at the receipt counter on the first floor. I remembered how my hands shake while signing the documents and filing those forms.
It's hard for me to believe that my dad was no more with me.
I and Jeffrey came home, all broken. As we went home and opened the door, Patty was waiting outside. He was playing with his favorite ball which he borrowed from my dad. Patty hugged and I slowly spoke in his tiny cute ears, "Patty, dad is no more. He must be at peace now. I know you will miss him too. But I promise I'll do everything in a good manner from now onwards. You and I'll live happily. I love you, Patty."
I know animals can't talk but they can feel as well as They can hear us too. Patty heard me and he went really very emotional. He showed his empathy towards me. I didn't know how, but he went straight to dad's room and sat on his chair. I knew he somewhere felt that dad wouldn't come home now.
