Learning about the system

"Hey kid, can you show me your stats?" Sandro was really curious about what is special about Adrian, he did have an idea, but he was not sure yet.

Adrian looked and Sandro, and he decided to show his status to him, he was his teacher after all.

"Sure, no problem!"

Sandro looked through his stats, and found two surprising things. The first surprising thing, that made him really shocked, was that Adrians stats was abnormally high for a 15 year old, and he hadn't even used his level up points yet.

The second thing that is surprising, is the skill instinct. It was a skill he had never seen before, but as he looked at the description, he got quite shocked. He had a skill that was doing about the same as the first part of the description. The skill he had was called 'Danger sense lvl 7'. His skill could sense danger around him, in a radius of 30 meters, but it didn't help him react. It was also level 7, while Adrians skill was level 1.

Sandro stared with a very intense glare at Adrian "First of kid, do you know how abnormal your stats are?!?" It was practically a low yell.

"U-uhm, w-what do you mean?" Adrian was getting quite intimidated by his teachers intense glare.

"A normal human, without any training has an average of 5 in their stats, when they hit 18" Sandro was the same back then, when he started his journey his average was also five, where his agility and strength was slightly higher, and charm being the lowest at one. "You kid; you have an average of 7, with your lowest being 4 ... " He didn't even mention his undistributed points "And you are only 15 years old!"

Adrian was looking at his teacher with a surprised look, he was actually always a little dissatisfied with his stats. He didn't really know anything about what the stats meant, and what the average was of normal people. He had only ever seen one other persons stats, his childhood friends stats, and they were always higher than his.

"I-I-I didn't k-know, I have only ever seen one other persons stats, a-and they were higher than mine"

"You should never compare your stats with an adult" Sandro was shaking his head, he was assuming that he had never seen anything other than an adults stats.

Before Adrian could answer him to say it was not an adult, Gus came walking "Why do you look so bewildered Sandro?" Gus came walking over, with a curious look.

"Don't you even know what kind of monster this child is?" He looked at Gus with a very shocked look, before Gus could answer, he heard "Just look at the kids stats!" He was shaking his head, like he had given up a little.

Gus took a look at the stats. He stood there, obviously shocked speechless, he didn't know what to say.

"So this is a true talent" Gus could only say so much, since he was like Sandro, and started of with an average stat level of 5.

"You have given this old man a gem to teach" Suddenly Sandro had a huge smile. He couldn't do much about Adrians stat, but what he could do, was to make this genius a powerful warrior in the future.

"Adrian, let me ask you! How much do you really know of the system showing you the stats and skills?" Sandro gave Adrian a quick look, trying to figure out where to start teaching.

"A-all I know is, what I have learned myself" Adrian looked back at Sandro with a nervous smile "And that is that my level go up as I kill, a-and my stats go up when training, although rarely!"

"You are right about that kid, but there is many other things!" Sandro looked at the kid, like he was looking at and idiot "Let me start from the start!" He proceeded to explain to Adrian about what the different stats mean.

Strength is simple, it is how strong your body is, and how much weight it can take. It is also the stat you usually go up in, if you have a strength based weapon like swords, hammers, axes and so on.

Agility is connected to strength a little. Agility is actually how well you can use the strength your body has, in different ways. For instance you speed comes down to how high your strength stat is, but if you agility stat is too low, you won't be so quick. If your Agility is higher than your strength stat though, you will be able to run faster than you should.

Agility is also connected to weapon techniques, and how well they can be used. It works the best on people that uses the bow, dagger, rapier and spears.

It also stands for you flexibility, which is how much your body can bend in different ways.

Intelligence is usually used by mages, and is connected to how much mana you have. The higher your intelligence stat is, the more damage and mana a magic user will have.

Stamina is how long you can keep your strength for. A very simple stat, but it is very important.

Vitality is your life force, the higher this stat is, the longer you will live, and the more health you will have. between level 1-10, the vitality stat gives you 10 years of life for each point. between 11-110 it gives one year extra for every level. Here after, every stat in vitality gives half a year of life.

Bravery was a kind of different stat, since it is only a stat that concerns your battle intent. The higher your bravery, the higher your battle intent. The more battle intent you have, the more you will fight, before you begin to lose strength in battle.

Charm is the stat that influence oh people see you the first time you meet.

"And lastly kiddo, the undistributed points is something you can in put in whatever stat you want" Sandro ended his lessons with this for now. It had also taking him more than 3 hours explaining all of this, with all the questions Adrian asked.

"O-okay, where do you think I should put these points then?" Adrian and sucked all of this knowledge in like a sponge, he really wanted to learn, because this would help him become stronger.

"That is a you problem!" He didn't want to say anything, since he wanted to see how Adrian reacted to this.

"Then I think they should be saved" Sandro smiled at this answer. It was exactly what he would do, since these 6 points could give a boost of strength in a difficult situation.

"Now go rest, tomorrow, your training starts!" Sandro gave a dangerous smile, before he moved into the mansion.

When he couldn't see Sandro anymore, he smiled wryly. Joanna came over and started chatting with him. She walked with Adrian, until they came to the guest room he was sleeping in.

"Goodnight Anna, see you tomorrow!"

Goodnight Adrian!" She gave him a small nod, and blushed slightly "See you in the morning!" She walked away, towards her own room in a graceful manner.

Adrian just stood there, with a dumbfounded face, he had never seen such a beautiful sight before. The red cheeks on Joanna just made her already stunning face, look drop dead gorgeous.

This day had been a very hectic one, it was only his third day in the mansion, but it felt like it had been months.

It was late, and Adrian was very tired. He went to bed, and not even 1 minute went by, before you could hear the heavy breathing of a sleeping Adrian.
