Chapter 59: Being Schemed Against

The man pulled Aria Grant out of the water and laid her down on the shore, already unconscious.

George Flack bent down to give Aria artificial respiration, while several crew members gathered around, their faces full of shock.

"Isn't that Mr. Flack?"

The crew members whispered among themselves, looking at George Flack in disbelief.

They had heard about the relationship between the two, but they hadn't expected it to be so public. Aria was a public figure too, why wouldn't they avoid arousing suspicion?

Last night after receiving artificial respiration, Aria coughed up some water and finally caught her breath.

The director let out a sigh of relief, finally allowing his worried heart to rest.

It was the inadequacy of his safety measures that had put Aria in such danger, which left him feeling guilty deep down inside.

Seeing that Aria had finally woken up, the director let out another sigh and quickly called for two crew members to help her rest.
