Ivy Grant was playing games with Dylan Flack in the room, but she, who had always been impressive, kept losing focus today.
"Ivy, what's wrong with you? It feels like your game skills are off today. I've already won several rounds," Dylan was puzzled, as previously Ivy had always been the one to beat him.
Ivy looked at Dylan without speaking, unsure of what to say. She was currently very worried about her mother and feared her mother's condition was getting worse. She desperately wanted to be with her mother.
"Ivy, talk to me," Dylan gently touched her head. "I promise I won't tell the grown-ups."
"I miss my mom..." Ivy was, after all, just a five-year-old child. Even though she might usually appear calm and collected, she would still miss her mother when she was not around.
Seeing Ivy's reddened eyes, Dylan was extremely concerned.
