George Flack put down the documents in his hand and gripped Dylan's arms with both hands.
Dylan began to cry: "No one told me anything, it was just Mom who told me to stick to Dad more, so that Dad would like to be with me more, and then our family could go out to have fun together."
Dylan's words were muffled by his sobs, becoming increasingly inaudible as he spoke.
All the grievances in his choked sobs entered George's ears, and after hearing everything, he grew angry.
So, all of this was because of Belly Wescott!
In the quiet study, only the sound of quarreling remained, and George reserved his last bit of patience for Dylan.
"Dylan, don't think too much about it. Both Mom and Dad love you very much. You don't need to feel so aggrieved about all this. Aren't you tired? I'll take you to rest right now!"
Dylan cried hard, and at this point, George directly took his hand and led him back to his room.
