Chapter 156: Don't Drink Alcohol Anymore

Ivy Grant's hand kept rubbing George Flack's clothes. That was the unconscious act under tension.

Fortunately, there were no major issues, and George had already breathed a sigh of relief. He was also patiently comforting Ivy.

"Ivy, you don't have to worry so much now. You heard what the doctor just said, right? Your mom really just fainted because she was too tired. After her stomach gets pumped, your mom will wake up gradually."

But why? Why would her mom do this? Ivy didn't understand. Even as a child, she knew that alcohol and medicine should not be taken together. Why didn't her mom know that? Was her mom doing it on purpose?

George could see that the child next to him was still very confused, so he continued to explain.

"Ivy, you have to believe that your mom didn't do it on purpose. She must have been extremely tired and uncomfortable, and so she took the medication in a hurry and accidentally drank the alcohol."
