Leah Wilson suddenly said so much, which left George Flack sitting next to her feeling a little incredulous, as it seemed like this was the first time he had ever heard Leah talk so much. He had always thought she didn't like to speak.
"No, I don't feel uncomfortable. It might just be that I've had too much to drink, and it makes me think about a lot of things,"
Hearing George say that, Leah laughed softly at his side, "Thinking about a lot of things? Like what, for example?"
George was just making a casual remark, albeit a lousy excuse, but he didn't expect Leah to keep asking. Seeing how serious she looked, George tried hard to think of something so as not to make it too awkward.
"Thinking about a lot of things, like how to make our lives valuable, and what things can be definitively worth it. Our life of a hundred years passes by in confusion, is it better to live in mediocrity or to be constantly busy?"
