"Where's Mommy? Why aren't you going in?" Ivy whispered, not daring to speak too loudly, as she didn't know what was going on.
George mouthed back, "Your Mommy doesn't want anyone to go in and disturb her now."
Not letting anyone disturb her by just standing outside? Ivy was furious but didn't have the time to argue with George. She went straight into the ward.
George was relieved to see Ivy go inside. He was worried about Aria being in there alone, but he knew Aria had been so firm in her attitude just now.
Ivy saw her mother lying there, and noticed her impatience when she heard a noise. Ivy felt heartbroken.
"Didn't I say not to come in?"
"Mommy, how did you become like this?" Ivy gently leaned against Aria. Dylan also leaned close by.
Aria had thought it was George who had entered, but was surprised to find that it was the children's voices. She opened her eyes in panic and saw both kids beside her.
