Perhaps it was the riverbank that stirred up too many thoughts, George Flack started to feel tense. Could it be that Aria Grant was taking things too hard due to what happened today?
George Flack never imagined Aria Grant would despair, but the word "riverbank" made him feel unsettled.
As he was quickly driving his car, he asked Joshua Mamet, "Why, why did you set the navigation to here? Do you know something?"
Joshua Mamet hadn't thought things would turn out too well, but he also hadn't thought they would be too grim. He didn't think Aria Grant would commit suicide or act out of despair. He suggested this location because he and Aria Grant had been there before.
No one was an exception; everyone was looking for clues from the past. Apart from that, there was no other way.
When George Flack saw that Joshua Mamet didn't respond, he could only concentrate on driving, praying that nothing bad would happen to Aria Grant.
