If this were truly the case, Aria Grant couldn't understand why everyone had to be entangled here. If Lucas Blackwood didn't want to rest at home and wanted to work at Butterfly all the time because of Matt Andrews, then Aria would be at a loss for words. With so many people in the world, why do they keep focusing on one or two?

If Lucas was supposed to take care of Matt and she had to work with Matt, wouldn't the relationships be too complicated? Aria didn't know what to say, and her mind was no longer on Lucas's health issues.

When they arrived downstairs at Lucas's house, Aria knew she couldn't just leave. As she helped Lucas out of the car, she thought that if her suspicions were true, Lucas's refusal to accept her care made sense, all because she and Matt had known each other before.
