Perhaps it was Aria's lack of response that further solidified Thomas' judgment.
So when Thomas replied, he became even more uninhibited, acting as if he understood the situation far better than Aria.
"You might think there's no problem with this now, but is this really what George thinks? Are you a bit uncertain now? It's okay. Whenever you need my explanation, just let me know."
Aria did feel a bit uncertain, but looking at those messages Thomas sent, he really had no shame, didn't he? He talked as if he was so nice, but why didn't he think that even if everything turned out not so great later, it was because he asked her to dinner?
"Well, if it weren't for my memory, I'd really think you meant well. But have you forgotten? If not for you inviting me to dinner, right? If you hadn't been so vocal, George wouldn't have known so quickly, would he? Don't have any more good intentions for me. What's most important is that you keep your distance from me, just maintain that distance."
