Chapter 290: Replacing

The more Ivy noticed Aria's anger, the angrier Aria got.

"Oh my god, why are you so annoying? It was your fault in the first place, and you still refuse to apologize."

Now she was being called stubborn? Ivy didn't care at all. She thought that something must have happened to her mom, or else she wouldn't be so confused.

"Alright, alright, I'm wrong. So, mom, can you tell me why? Did dad make you angry?"

Ivy guessed that her dad must be the one who made her mom so upset.

"Didn't you see him just now?"

Aria was puzzled and asked Ivy. After all, George Flack didn't go into the room. Wasn't he outside?

Ivy shook her head and innocently said, "I don't think so. I didn't see him!"

Well, Aria calmed down a bit and thought that maybe George had gone straight to his study. He liked that place.

Aria didn't want to think about George's thoughts anymore and realized that even if she had said everything, he still wouldn't try to comfort her.
