"All right, everyone is watching."
Aria Grant was speaking in a low voice to Matt Andrews, afraid he might do something unusual.
After all, Aria felt that Director Jake hadn't done anything wrong. His discontent was voiced merely as words that did not pain her at all.
"Didn't you hear what he said about you? I couldn't stand it; how come you didn't react?"
Matt said, pressing close to Aria. He could tell Aria cared, so he lowered his voice so others couldn't hear them.
"Of course I know he's talking about me. But think about it, he's not wrong. This morning I was supposed to be here, but I couldn't make it due to an incident."
Aria wasn't there in the morning, but Director Jake wasn't idle either. He had planned other scenes, so what did Aria do wrong? It wasn't as if she left everyone waiting in vain.
"Okay, I got it. If you don't mind, I won't say anything more."
