"Where are you rushing off to?"
"The kids went out for dinner, and I guess they forgot to bring money. Now they need me to pick them up!"
How could they forget to bring money? Aria Grant shook her head—then again, Ivy Grant was so mad earlier, she probably didn't think it through. Aria also wanted to go with them.
But then she remembered how Ivy had treated her, and Aria felt a chill in her heart. Since that was the case, there was no need for her to accompany George Flack.
"Alright, then you'd better hurry and pick them up."
George Flack certainly noticed the displeasure on Aria Grant's face, so he quickly grabbed her and asked softly, "What's wrong? Why do you look like you're under a cloud? Did someone upset you?"
But it was a long story, and Aria Grant didn't even know how to explain. Besides, the children were waiting for George to arrive, and it would be a bit much if she started going into detail there and then. So Aria Grant just shook her head.
