"Cadet Jake Grant is reporting for duty, sir." Jake saluted Victor for the first chance he got.

"I have got the news that you were injured due to a brawl during the nighttime," Victor said.

"It wasn't much of a brawl, but rather it was more like an induced session of torture upon me and the other recruits. The fight was good, the opponent too weak." Jake said in a calm voice.

Victor looked at Jake but found his expression to be cold and blank. Even for a commander and hunter like him, he was unsettled by the atmosphere.
