THE SAINT'S LINEAGE

Jake was lying on the ground with three swords piercing through his body. Blood was gushing out of his body non-stop. He was exhausted, his body writhing with pain all over. He wanted to stand up, but the figures surrounding him wouldn't let him rise. They were stomping on his figure without stopping. His body was being pressed into the ground.

The stomping increased the severity of his injuries. He tried to escape their grasp but failed to do so. These faceless figures were relentless, and Jake's judgement was clouded by anger. It was the stomping that managed to bring some clarity into his mind.

The first reaction occurred due to pain and suffering. The anger he previously felt was replaced by desperation. His mind was filled with helplessness. His cruel fate was his inability to move and his being crushed by his enemies.
