Samra p.o.v

As soon as my mom left I laid back in bed and stared at the necklace and I thought of what my mom said she seems like she wont be accepting Brian anytime soon.

I sigh before I went back to lie down on my pillow I turned to look at the alarm and realise that I missed my morning prayer.

Crap why didn't my alarm wake me" I scolded myself.

I then stood up to ho to the bathroom to make wudhu when suddenly my stomach ached and I checked myself only to see that mother nature was on time.

So I brushed my teeth did my morning routine and slowly walked back to bed.

I was about to call my nanny who usually checks up on me came in after knocking on the door.

"Finally you're here I was about to call you" I said as I laid on the bed.

"Are you not feeling well miss samra?" She asked as she checked my forehead.

"Kinda, I just happen to have my days now which I seem to forget which is also weird anyways am glad you're here" I said as I held my tummy.

"Thank God I almost had a heart attack don't scare me like that miss" she whined as she hand me painkiller.

"Sorry it wont happen it just my mind slipped and I didn't check my calendar" I pounded at her.

"You silly girl don't worry I'll get you anything you want you know that I'll always be here whenever you need me" she said as left the room.

I smiled as I thought how caring miss Linda has been ever since I was young,she took good care of me and seemed to be closer to her than I am with my mom.

Ever since mom became a powerful figure she has forgotten her responsibilities as a parent and barely around.

Despite having everything I somehow feel empty and that's her not being with me and sometimes I get jealous of those who have parents that make time for them despite not being rich like me.

I guess we don't always get everything we want to  always be perfect and satisfying. We get some and lose some.

I ended up sleeping as I thought of everything that's been happening in my life.

I woke up in the mid-morning,I turn to look at the time which was on the left side of my bed it was twelve o'clock isat up on the bed.

My Cramp pain subsided and I was having cravings, likely miss linda just entered with a tray full of food,she put the tray on my bed and a small table infront of me and put the plate of sweet foods such as cookies, churros, banana bread and many more.

My mouth watered as I stared at them and I couldn't wait to have it all my cravings were growing every second.

"Thank you so much miss linda, I was craving for this I can't wait to have it all" I said as I applaud her.

"You're welcome dear, just don't eat too much to upset your stomach don't forget last time you ended up in the emergency because of this" she reminded me.

"Can't promise you that but am sure I'll be fine don't worry so now if you would excuse me I would like to take this visitors to their owner " I said as I took a bite of chocolate cookie.

"Well I'll leave you with your visitors then" she said as she left.

I ate it like there is no tomorrow and I couldn't help it was so delicious asi know miss linda happens to be the best cook.

After I had my breakfast, I Tommy phone and texted martha.she didn't reply until hours later and asked how I was which i asked her if she saw Brian in school.

"Sorry samra he wasn't around school the whole day and why do you ask about him?" She asked as she gave me a call.

"The thing is he came to see me last night and am afraid he got caught and was suspended or something " I said sounding worried.

"What makes you think he's suspended, you don't think your mom caught him do you and why do you care if he is?" She asked confused.

"I don't.... I mean.... please just find out if he is in school i just hope he's alright" I said as I changed the topic.

"I don't know what got into you... but fine I'll find out and tell you if something happened between you two ok?" She as she hung up.

I really hope that he doesn't get suspended..

Mom didn't catch him please Allah don't let him get kicked out.

I prayed silently.

The rest of the day, I was either reading novels, playing on my laptop or just relaxed by the window as I watched the clouds moving slowly on the sky.

By night as usual miss Linda served me dinner, we chatted and left my room as i was about to turn off the light my phone beeped and it was a text from Martha.

Hey I just found out about brian, he wasn't at school the whole day because he took a leave he happen to twist his ankle and he wont be around for weeks I wonder how you two ended up the same situation on the same day😕

I felt relieved as I read the text twice for confirmation and I was glad that it wasn't as I thought it would be

Can't wait to see him again.

Few weeks later

I was back to school again thanks to miss linda who was there to help me around walk from place to place I either used wheelchair or she would let me lean on her as we walked around the house.

Here I am at my locker as I take my schedule and Martha is with me as asking questions and I told her everything.

As we were both walking to class, brian appeared in front me did I mention how tall he is, he has a muscular body, brown eyes,light skin and brown thick hair that lay on one side of his eye.

I couldn't help to stare st him that I barely paid attention to what he said because I was admiring his appearance.

"Hey are you ok?" He asked as he snapped his fingers at me.

"Ummm.....sorry..w..what were you saying?" I asked feeling embarrassed.

"I was wondering if we could go out sometimes its been a while since I last saw you" he said as he smiled at me.

"Am ok thanks for saying that " I said.

"So would it be ok if we hang out tomorrow after practice ?" He asked as he rubbed his neck.

"Yeah sure I'll text you when am ready"i said as I grabbed martha and we walked away.

I didn't wait for his reply and I was glad we were in class on time.

Martha and I sat together and she gave me a look that asks what just happened.

"Sorry" I whispered as the teacher entered the room.

I wonder if allowing myself to be close to him is a good idea I just hope mom never finds out or else...
