Cynthia was surprised since she was sure that Lilliana might have some complaints for being given less than someone who only entered the family a week ago.
Lilliana was very cold Cynthia in the future as they had a hard time agreeing with a lot of things. They both often attempted to get close to each other but always failed or were obstructed by external factors.
They dislike each other but hold some sort of warmth for each other because the same blood flowed through their veins.
They may have disagreed on many occasions but it never got to the point of arguing. they were just small issues that they got over in no time.
The first and only big fight they had was when the Cynthia liked, named Derek Zayden, ended up falling for Lilly.
Cynthia was naive and felt that it was all Lilly's fault. When she had gotten over it and matured, she realized her mistake but had a hard time getting hold of her to apologize.
At that time, Lilliana was already traveling around the world and fighting in Gates.
Cynthia knows that Lilly is a very sweet girl inside and was wondering how she got engaged to a scumbag like Derek. She also loathes herself for liking such a garbage human.
What she didn't expect was that Lilly would smash the face of her beloved older brother for the challenge. He hadn't even turned evil yet, maybe.
'I promise to save you from that scum bag Derek, not that you might need saving with those fists. But first I need to test the two murderers of mine.'
Cynthia felt that she may have heavily miscalculated. Derek and Zayden might not be complete trash of human beings right now but it didn't mean they would become murders.
She needed to know if they were already like this now or her revenge may leave a guilty consciousness that she could get rid of. Her mother had raised her better than to take blind revenge.
She needed to find the justification for her actions and she knew exactly how. 20 years of future knowledge has uncountable perks, as long as she doesn't change much.
"Restrain her!" yelled Alison because she wasn't going to put her own hands on her children. That's why Antoine went forward.
His entire body, from head to toe, radiated a translucent white light. The light was not very bright but still made a mental glow surround him.
He pounced towards Lilly and Oswin. Oswin was on the ground, completely battered. All it took was a couple of seconds for his attractive face to become a pile of dog feces, smooshed and brown all over with black spots.
Lilly kept on pounding him all over his face, one of his favorite qualities. It falls in 2nd place behind his money. In one day he had lost his top to favorite three.
"That's enough!' Antoine appeared next to her and held both of her hands behind her back.
Her fists stopped being covered by her golden mana. Antoine was glad that she was being obedient for once.
"Heh..." Lilly turned around and faced him with a smug grin. Her left foot instantly burst with the golden light.
It then sang backward towards Antoine's family jewels. 'Sh*t!' He cursed inward and let go of her. He rather the 'little brother' in between his stay intact than to save his actual little brother that was on the floor.
Lilly approached Oswin once more. He was unconscious with blood splattered all over his face and his eyes had rolled back.
She lifted her leg and put it right above the not so noticeable bulge in his pants. This is his third most precious quality.
She was going to crack her older brother's 'little brother' like an egg. She said "all this thing will do is make more chickens like him. Might as well and do the world a favor."
"Heeyaaa!!" she was going to put all her energy into the kick.
Zwoosh!
A black hole opened under Oswin as he slipped into the floor. To say it was in the blink of an eye would be an understatement. It was too fast for Lilly to react and she was surprised.
"Hehee, it's too late mom." she chuckled. She had clearly felt her foot craze his nether region. With the strength she used, it was more than enough to send his thing to hell.
Oswin appeared on top of the dining table as the other end of the black hole opened there.
As soon as he crashed into it, a bloodcurdling scream was heard.
"KYAAAAAAAAAA!!!" Indeed, this girlish scream came from the oh so manly Oswin.
"Hahaha!! I was right, he was indeed a chicken and not a rooster." The poisonous tongue of Lilly never took a break from the battlefield.
Alison, who used her powers of space to try and save her son's d*ck ended up being just a tad bit late.
Her son was writhing in agony and holding his thing while crying. His bloodied face that was already turned into an ugly mess was not covered with snot and tears as well.
"Go call the doctor! Bring over our elite healers as well!" Alsion commanded at Antoine. She then turned to look at the two girls.
One was stretching her legs after some light exercise while the other just stood there like a frozen doll. Just like her dad, Cynthia did not show a single change in her deadpan expression.
"Go to your r....." Before she could even finish her sentence, the two sisters just turned away in sync and walked out of the dining room. They didn't feel like staying in the aftermath.
Cynthia just didn't wasn't to be bothered by the aftermath and needed time to absorb the feast her eyes just had.
Lilliana wanted to get some fresh breeze and then go to sleep. She knew a scolding was to come from her mother she better delay that as much as possible.
Alison would be presupposed with her son's condition for a good while. This will let her lay low for a while.
...
After a hearty dinner, Cynthia head up to bed early. She did some light cardio before that though. She didn't want to feel too heavy when she wakes tomorrow.
She had gotten some servants to bring her dinner to the room.
She had a lot to do the next day and didn't want to wake up tired as she still needed to do the third and final act.
She had realized that this was the most eventful day in her life but she didn't feel too tired. She actually felt excited as she was able to Oswin's twisted expression once again.
Cynthia had no idea what was going on in Lilliana's mind but she felt it had to with the two of them getting closer to each other.
It might also have to do with Lilly's habit of storing all her frustration for a long time and just bursting them forth at once. She would give no warnings.
She didn't like Oswin that much anyway and even in the future, she would always beat him to get some stress relief.
As she fell asleep in her noiseless room, she smiled very lightly while thinking about what had just happened.
Her final thought was whether she might be a sadist like Lilliana.
...
That night, 300 miles (482.803 km) away from Nervous City, on top of the tallest mountain of the United Federation of Aznolia, a young man looked at the crimson moon that light up the gorgeous night sky.
He always felt that stars were brighter and more beautiful but the moon looked bigger. That's why more people wrote poems about beautiful women by comparing them to the moon.
The young man with red hair and blood-red eyes twinkled with moments of fantasy. He was dreaming of a girl to whom the moon could not compare.
"I cant wait to see her again," he said with an eager tone. The boulder he sat on shook slightly.
"And who would that be?" the mellow and comforting voice of an adult woman sounded from behind him.
The young man turned around and jumped off the boulder. He quickly ran to the woman and tightly hugged her.
"Where have you been mother?" asked the young man sweetly. It was a stark contrast to how he quibbled with Lilliana.
The tall woman, almost at 6 foot 2 inches, looked down at her son who hadn't finished growing yet.
Her hair an emerald green color brushed his face and blue eyes that reflected the serene eyes gave him a look of regret.
"The quadrennial (recurring every 4 years) family evaluation is to take place for the next 6 months." That's all she needed to say in her motherly voice as she held on to her son dearly. She knows that her son knew everything about what was going to happen soon.
"I wished that you could stay with our dear but it's a family tradition to keep the children away from the house when it happens."
"I know mom. I will try my best to not teleport over." the boy's voice was filled with sadness. He was going to miss his family for almost half a year with minimal chances of contact.
"You better. Remember, if they don't see you, it means you were never there." Ryan Frontera's mother winked at him to let him know of the loopholes.
Ryan fell into a burst of laughter after hearing the shameless teachings of his mom. She joined in. The boy had the power to teleport long distances and no one had yet to figure out his limit.
The way his mother said it, it sounded like he could teleport from the U.F.A.(United Federation of Aznolia) to his home country of Desolate. That was halfway across the world, about 12,000 miles.
After lightening the mood his mother asked once again "So what is this girl you were muttering about?"
Her son doesn't usually talk to himself so she understood that he had felt her behind him. This means that he had said those on purpose, for her to hear.
"Hehehe. Let me tell you while I drop you back off mom." The tow then disappears from the mountain, leaving nothing but kicked-up wind in dust in their place.
...
Back at the Duketh estate, Lilliana was looking at the same crimson moon and bright stars. The sky was very clear today in Nervas City so she was taking an after-dinner walk.
She had robbed the pantry for her favorite snacks and was munching on them as she stargazed.
'I wonder why I did that?' she questioned herself. Lilly wasn't sure why she had directed her outburst so violently.
She always disliked Oswin and felt he was the black sheep of the family. He had always been useless and spent most of his time playing around.
Although his power wasn't that great, he could still train to make it better. He wouldn't have any trouble making a great living with healing abilities.
There has always been a lack of people with superpowers related to healing others. He spent all of his time splurging money on girls, cars, and clothes. It's like nothing else was worth his efforts.
This frustrated her to no ends as both she and Antoine had spent a considerable amount of time training their talents.
For Lilly, her power has had the potential to become world-class so she focused on that. Endless hours of pain and determination to be able to secure her future.
Her dad had told her that the only ways someone could be safe were to be strong themselves. This was when she had first awakened at 5.
Training had been an obsession since then but as she had become older now, she realized that she should take breaks just like Antoine does.
She wanted to spend her youth doing better things such as having fun with the friends she has made in high school. Just like her old brother had done when he learned a considerable amount of business skills.
Though, she wants to do it to follow her brother. She was only having fun since she wanted to.
'I also beat Oswin because I wanted to.' she convinced herself that it was just an impulsive decision not influenced by anything else.
Definitely not because she wanted to defend Cynthia, a newbie from fighting!
Definitely not because she wanted to teach him to show respect to his younger sister!
Definitely not because she wanted to look like a reliable younger sister to Cynthia!
Lilliana didn't notice that she was blushing very lightly when she thought about getting closer to Cynthia.
"Should I cut down on my training anymore and make some time to bond with her?" she asked herself. She then blushed even deeper.
She smacked herself on the cheeks to weaken herself from a dreamland. She had finally found someone who was right at her age, is her family and goes to the same school.
Lilliana was sure that she would no longer be lonely. She was sure Cynthia would become an adorable older sister that she could share all her little secrets.
"Maybe Is should offer to train her?" Lilly continues to walk around the vast gardens as she made plans to approach and build up her image towards Cynthia.
With that, the first day and night in this refreshed world came to end for Cynthia. She had been unbelievably lucky today or was that really the case.
Would it really continue to be that easy? No way!
Life isn't enjoyable without some hair pulling problems here and there.
