"As if I chose this... Haha. Such a pity. But your time has come, my darling. You must go."
Nora sighed in relief and said, "For me to go from the hands of such a ruler as yourself. What an honour." She raised her hand and caressed Alan's face.
Her soft touch was decent on his cheek, very gentle. Only if those very hands could relieve him. Truly a shame that she had to die.
Alan reached out for Nora's hand and touched it. Caressing her hand gently, he placed her hand on her chest once again.
The rain was only getting heavier. The storm was at it's peak now. Everyone was busy gazing at the Moon King who was getting back to his feet, letting Alan deal with The Blood Mage.
"Hmm...? Pitiful sight — Ain't it? Death?" Alan asked from Nora.
She was still gazing at Alan's sparkling eyes. Curving her lips into a smile, forcefully, she said, "Yes... A pitiful sight. I chose the wrong path. If I had known, I'd have chosen you."
