chapter 11 Holga the braggart
Glory's mood was sullen, she felt like a total looser, she bought some few stuffs and left the mall.
on the way back she met Matthew again, the girl beside him wasn't there.
Matthew came straight to her, "long time no see Glory, what kept you busy?"
'shit, I really hate this guy.' she thought
" nothing much, I decided to deal with my personal life."
" okay, can I have your number so that when I miss you I can call you? " he asked expectancy.
" no, there's no need, besides we aren't friends. " she said
'ooh no, I screwed things up, I thought that having another girl besides me will make her come to me and fight for the position, but now she's pushing me far away. I was really wrong this time' he taught
"okay we can be friends then. so can I have the number?"
"I didn't accept the friendship."
"but we've kissed severally, what's the big deal there?"
"there's no way am going to become friends with someone like you, I better stay with no friends."
"Glory, listen to me, I can..."
before he finished his statement Megan came.
"ooh dearest Matthew, have been looking for you everywhere..... so... you... are.... here..." she stammered on her last sentence.
" yeah I came out to finish some business." he said
" ooh,,,, and this lady,,,, I thought you said you don't know her."
" mind your business Megan, go back home I'll see you later." his statement was nonnegotiable.
Megan left
Glory left too
" hold on Glory, I was telling you something. why are you going so fast?"
' Megan is such a shred, she can't even keep her mouth shut. agh!'
he followed behind Glory
on the road, Glory hailed a taxi and left without giving Matthew a glance.
' so he even told that girl that he doesn't know me and yet he's forcing me to give him my number and become his friend. in his dream'
the distance between the mall and the school wasn't far, she reached there quite fast.
on the way back to the hostel she met Holga the girl Matthew was embarrassing the other night.
she wasn't in the mood for small chats with her but Holga stopped right on her way.
"so you are jealous because Matthew I'd my boyfriend now? hah! sorry girl, though you are beautiful you aren't young anymore like me. you know am three or four years younger than you, definitely he will choose a young girl over an old woman. "Holga bragged
" why is there so much noise here? excuse me girl I want to get out of here. my eardrums are going to burst soon. " she left with that
Holga was dumbfounded
'what gave her the courage to ignore my words, am going to teach her a lesson. anyways Matthew is mine I won't let her have him. hehe.'
