chapter 16 familiarity

when Matthew was back from the bathroom, he found Glory sleeping on the couch, he carried her and put her on his bed. he dried his hair, took his medicine and lay down on the sofa.

in the morning

Glory woke up in unfamiliar room

the horror from five years ago came back to her mind.

'ooh God, let me hope isn't what am thinking, didn't someone took advantage of me again?' she woke up abrupt when she thought of her past

'heh! why is this guy lying on the sofa in this room? last night... ugh! I can't even remember.... ooh I was sleeping on that sofa while waiting for this jerk , how did I jump on his bed? did I sleep walk? ' she was lost in her thoughts. she didn't even notice when Matthew got up

"good morning honey, how was your night?"

" it was good, how are you feeling today?" she asked with concern

" pretty good, freshen up,am going downstairs to inform Tim to bring you clothes to change."

'what a considerate man.'

' thank God he didn't touch me last night, or else I could have skin him alive.'

she went to the bathroom

'since we've spend the night in the same room, nobody will believe me if I tell them we didn't do anything. it's better if I stop cat fight with that idiot'

after a warm shower, she found new clothes exactly her size laid on the bed.

she dressed up and went downstairs

Matthew was seated on the sofa watching financial news when he saw Glory coming downstairs.

"the Breakfast is ready, let's head to the dining table."

"okay.... and by the way why are you training in Y City university? being a CEO fits you better."she asked

" I went there to look for something precious"he answered

" ooh"

" aren't you curious of what I am looking for? " he asked

" I'm not, besides it isn't anything about me right? "

" I went there to look for you"he said calmly

" hehe, why would you look for me, besides you are in second year that means you joined campus last year if am not wrong. "

" I didn't join last year, I joined a few days before you. "he said

'why is this dude always talks nonsense'

" so why would you look for me? "

" because you look familiar when I see you every time, it seems like I know you before, so I wanted to figure out something. "

' everytime I see that girl I always remember that blurry night, when I get closer to her I feel the same like the other time, but I didn't kiss that girl that night so I can't get the familiarity with the kiss, the warmth embrace is so familiar. '
