chapter 36 Matthew is your Dad

"I have been searching for you for six years. I never got tired. I never knew it was you all this while, I could have drag you to the civil affairs that year...."

" did you know me before Matthew?" he sounded like he had known her for so long.

" yes, I knew you along time ago. in a music festival hosted by your school when you were in primary school. my dad sponsored it that year."

" so you are that boy? you only greeted me and left without saying hi to others. you were so rude."

" that's when I knew you...." he continued " recently, Gifford said that he saw a pair of twins, the girl looks like you and the boy resemble me, I came downstairs but you were gone. I thought of that girl that night and when I see you, I always felt like it was you. until today I have confirm it. we can do DNA test to confirm." he said

" okay let's go inside and dine. " she agreed

they ate together peacefully.

after dinner Glory took the kids to the study and Matthew followed.

Jessica " Mr Huo and young master and mistress looks alike. maybe he's their father. let me mind my business. "

in the study

Coleman, Chloe sit down on the sofa. mommy has something important to tell you." Glory said

" mommy are you going make uncle Matthew our Dad? he looks like Coleman anyway." Chloe blabbed. she was mouthed.

" actually, he's not uncle Matthew. he is your biological father. he was joking earlier when he said you call him 'uncle'.... " before she explain further, Chloe jumped on Matthew arm.

" I knew it. you look like Coleman a lot. now we are not fatherless. I have a Dad. am not a bastard anymore... " she was so happy.

Matthew felt bad, his kids and Glory have gone through hard time while he was busy running the company with no care in the world. 'i will make sure I compensate them'

Coleman was silent. when the room was silent he said "I hope Dad will help mommy, I don't like seeing her going out at night to work, one night she might not come back."

Glory and Matthew looked at each other.

"well son, daddy will try his best. but I can't stop her from doing what she likes." he explained.

"mommy, can you let dad sleep here tonight?" Chloe asked, she didn't want to be parted with her dad.

"we don't have extra guest room, Lilly is using the other one" she said

"since he's our Dad you can share your room with him. in that way we can see him often, right Coleman?"

she suggested and asked expectantly

"Yes" he replied with one word.

Matthew spent the night at Glory place.
