Every home is the last place that will be the most comfortable in one's life. Sunny should have also felt the warmth and comfort of being at home, with her family, gathering together every breakfast and dinner. Sunny should have felt that warmth all the time. But, Sunny had forgotten how it felt to be warm and comfortable, Sunny also didn't know how to feel that warmth and comfort back in Sunny's family.

Her mother and father have been separated for a long time, but they are still in the same house. Sunny has one older sister and a younger sister. Sunny grew up in a family full of rules. Starting from, not allowing dating before graduating from school, not being allowed to come home later than 7 pm, not allowed to drink drinks containing alcohol, and the like. Her mother is a little strict even if it's just simple things. But, she said, from small things, problems will continue to arise if we are curious about it. So, Mother said, don't ever be curious about it if you don't want other big things to emerge.

Sunny is a stubborn person, never cares about rules, no matter what kind of rules. Sunny had never heard of the rules her mother had made since she knew they were so unreasonable. I mean, why can't Sunny date before graduation, even though Sunny already likes a boy from Sunny when she was in elementary school. Sunny is a cold person when it comes to her family. Sunny is a person who at least never interacts excessively with her family, except for her sister. Sunny has a very annoying character. Because of the rules that her parents made, Sunny is curious about it. Why did her parents forbid this and that, when it can be a very valuable experience later?

So, Sunny thought, as long as she didn't talk to anyone about it, she could be free to break the rules. When she was in junior high school, Sunny made new friends who were very diverse, starting from children who liked the same sex and children who liked drugs. Sunny had tried this once in a while. Sunny is curious, why do people like the same sex, and also why do people like drugs? Sunny tried them all. From Sunny who had been in a same-sex relationship, and that experience was something that Sunny didn't want to try again for good, Sunny had smoked, tried drugs. Because of that experience, Sunny came to know that the world is not as beautiful as Sunny had imagined so far. Sunny broke everything. Go home until midnight to go clubbing.

It was an experience that Sunny would never forget for the rest of her life, it was an experience that made Sunny know how cruel the world is. It was Sunny's most beautiful experience. But, Sunny forgot, from every experience, there was one that Sunny wanted to forget for the rest of her life. Bad experience during high school. An experience that Sunny could imagine being hysterical and screaming in terror. An experience that made Sunny even more convinced that the world didn't want her to stay where she was.

The rules made by her parents are just a breeze for Sunny. Because Sunny is stubborn, her parents are getting tired of telling Sunny this and that. Maybe because of that, her parents made Sunny's brother a child that her family was proud of. The smartest and most obedient child, the most beautiful and kind-hearted child, the child who will not disappoint his family, the most reliable child. But unfortunately, the disappointment of her parents was not only from little Sunny who did something wrong. Disappointed, Sunny's parents got it from her sister too. Cindy, Sunny's sister, is pregnant out of wedlock.

This made Sunny's mother very disappointed in her sister. Sunny's mother became quieter than usual. Sunny had heard the sound of sobs coming from her mother's room, her mother's disappointment hit Sunny hard, hit Sunny right in the heart. It made Sunny even more afraid to do anything that Sunny thought would disappoint her mother later.

But, her mother's disappointment was only as long as corn, when Cindy gave birth to her first child. Her mother's disappointment faded when she saw her very adorable first niece was born. Her mother seemed to forget the problems created by her brother. Until her sister gave birth to her second child, that disappointment, Mother swallowed it out of sight. Mother ignored her disappointment and was busy taking care of her adorable grandchildren.

But, to the disappointment that Sunny created, her mother kept bringing up the lies that Sunny did. Her mother never forgot that.

"Even if it's a small lie, it can become a big problem, Sunny. That's why I don't like my child breaking the rules."

At that time, Sunny had to go to the tutoring center in the afternoon after school. However, her friends instigated that the tutoring place was a scary place, different from clubbing which was very fun. Sunny forgot that her mother could sometimes be more protective than usual. Her mother called Sunny's tutoring place, and from there her mother found out that Sunny was not taking lessons. Sunny certainly apologized, until now, Sunny kept apologizing for the lie. But, that little mistake made her mother even colder than before.

Because of thar, made Sunny's family, which was already a mess, even more chaotic. And made Sunny even more untouchable by her family.

"I'm already confused about who else to borrow from..." Her mother looked at Sunny with a very tired look. This is the first time her mother is talking about her brother. "I'm already embarrassed if I have to borrow from people because I haven't had time to pay my other debts yet."

Sunny's heart hurts to hear her mother's story. Damn it! Why doesn't her sister give up on continuing to bother her mother?

It's been more than 10 years that Sunny has been secretly aware of the problems her sister is having. Starting from being pregnant out of wedlock, having a lot of debt everywhere, and having a husband who doesn't want to be responsible. Then why did her mother have to talk to Sunny now? Sunny was confused, what kind of attitude should she choose for her mother and sister?

"Can I borrow your money for the next few months? I will pay it when your father comes home."

Her father is in the Navy, and comes home almost every 6 months.

"I'm confused," Sunny looked at Mother lazily, "what do you expect from her? Aren't Dad and Cindy the same? They like debt here and there and online gambling?"

Her mother froze. Her eyes stared at Sunny with surprise that Sunny could see very clearly.

"You said earlier, would you like to pay when Dad comes home?" Sunny chuckled sarcastically. "Even if he comes home, are you sure he can pay the debt to me?"

Sunny immediately turned her face away when she saw the tears flowing from her mother's eyes. Her heart broke to see Mother's tears. Why should her mother talk about this now?

"In case you forgot, I'm still in college, Mom." Sunny continued to say, "There are still many things that I had to work on with the money."

"Sun, I--"

Sunny cut in quickly, "Cindy already has a family, why don't you let Cindy live with her family? Whether it's difficult or happy, it's up to her, Mom! You should just think about me and Iris. You don't have to worry about Cindy anymore."

Her mother started crying, which made Sunny even more guilty.

"What do you see in Cindy? She just always disappoints you!" Sunny chuckled loudly, "Then what do you expect from Dad? He never gave any money to support his family. Since I was born into this family."
