Chapter 89 - Taming A Dragon

At this point, Nobuharu had begun to question whether the King was still in the right mind.

"Are you alright, Ino?" he asked the King. "You want us to get into a Den of Dragons just to tame one dragon?"

"I am not afraid to die, are you?" asked the King to Nobuharu, who was caught off guard by it upon utterance.

"... and besides, I have you by my side." "So what could possibly go wrong?" the King asked. This caused Nobuharu to get even more concerned, as the King was sounding a lot more naive than a twelve-year-old who thought his parents were immortal heroes.

"I think you overestimate my current abilities, Ino," Nobuharu pointed out, and the King chuckled in response.

"You may be right," he responded, "maybe I do underestimate you."

This made Nobuharu arch his brow like he had just been insulted. Did he really mean what he just said? ... or was he just trying to make Nobuharu eager to go to the cave as well?
