Chapter 20

Samara's POV 

The light entered through the little space in between the curtains and just with how shitty my luck was, it landed directly on my closed eyelids. I grumbled incoherent words and buried my face into the pillow. 

A few minutes later I was woken up with a knock on my door. I frowned and got up from the bed to go see who it was. I opened the door slightly and was surprised to see Thea. 

" Good morning ma'am. Sorry to disturb but, would you like breakfast to be served in bed or in the dining room?"

"Good morning Thea. I will be down in a moment." She nodded and started to walk away.

"Thea?"

"Yes Ma'am?"

"Please call me Samara."

"I can't ma'am it's disresctful." I looked at the forty something year old woman quizzically. Was she serious? How does she expect me to allow a woman who looked old enough to be my mother call me that.

"Well at least call me Miss."

"Ma'am I...."
