Early morning Molly left her mother's house for Paradise, San Andreas. About 1:00 pm, she arrived at the Casino Royale.
The gigantic building with twenty-five floors and a massive underground parking lot: she found out her car stood out most in the parking area.
Entering the casino, she searched for a manager. Terry Martin, the slot manager was on the first floor.
"Yes, Mam, how may I help you?" Terry said while observing Molly in the face.
"I am looking for the owner of the casino," Molly said. She didn't even know the name of the owner of the casino. She decided to do as told on the phone.
"The owner... Mam, do you have an appointment with him?" Terry found it surprising for a random person to know whether the owner is in the casino or not.
"No, nothing of that sort. But I was told to look for him. Tell him about me so he can check it out." Molly tried to be confident in her own words.
Terry has worked in the casino for two decades and has faced many difficult situations. Despite being on the first floor, he was one of the closest people to the owner. He had kept many troublemakers from entering the higher floors.
Currently, Terry must decide whether to reject her request or not. It is however difficult to ignore the appearance of the women and the presence of the owner in the casino right now.
"Please give me a moment. Please give me your full name please." Terry decided to make the call.
"Thank you very much. It's Molly Bloom." Molly sighed with relief.
Terry made a call and informed the name on the phone.
The only answer he got was, "Take her to the guest room and wait for me."
Terry walked to Molly, "Mam, this way, please. The owner will be here soon." Terry showed the way to the guest room.
Molly was finally relieved; the voice hadn't lied to her. She was the newly appointed owner of this place. Molly now with new confidence, followed Terry.
...
From the top floor, the lift arrived on the first floor. The owner, casino manager, hotel manager, and other four-floor managers arrived on the first floor.
This appearance of them caused a commotion on the first floor. A few men in black suits started running toward the owner as soon as they spotted him. As always, security at the casino was fast and efficient.
Following the manager, the group entered the guest room.
Trevor Baker, the manager of the entire casino, and Regen Bill, owner of the Casino Royale, both noticed the women sitting on the couch at first.
Molly stood up seeing the party arriving. To her surprise, however, the reaction of the group was more over the top than her own.
"Miss Bloom, I am Regan Bill." Regan took the initiative to shake hands with her. Following that, everyone followed behind Regan one by one.
Molly and Regan was the only person sitting. "Miss. Bloom, it is a surprise to find a young woman like yourself taking charge of the Casino."
"Mister Regan, please just ask what is in your mind." Molly although not experienced in running the casino, she had the experience of understanding whether a person is hiding something or not.
"Ha... Ha... I will be direct then. Are you the person who bought the casino?" Regan squinted his eyes. He didn't believe Molly was the buyer.
Molly shook her head.
"Then..."
"Mister Regan, I was just given the job to run the casino. I don't have anything to give you more than this." Molly said. She glanced at the surprised faces of the people in the room.
Regan nodded. The entire casino transaction was carried out over the phone. At first, he was reluctant to do business with someone over the phone, but when the other party increased the price by 25%, he changed his mind.
The reason for selling the casino was simple. The other party was paying in one full payment.
Regan thought for a moment, "Then, Miss. Molly, this staff has been carefully selected by me over the years. I hope you give them a chance to prove themselves in front of you."
"Naturally... The casino will operate as usual. I hope to have full cooperation with them too." Molly said.
"Then I am relieved. I want to personally hand this to you." Regen pulled out a pen drive. "This contains information about the casino. The most critical part is the debt sheet. The casino has given quite a lot of money, to many people. You should handle them in your way."
Molly took the pen drive.
Regan and Molly talked over a few other important matters and left her with the staff.
Trevor gave a tour of the casino.
Everyone knew about the new owner by midnight. The casino operated as usual.
On the top floor, she entered her room. There was a lot of work for her to do.
Over the few days, she got acquainted with the management and work. During this time, the news of a new owner of Casino Royale spread in the casino community.
Some sent regards, while others were looking for a chance to sabotage her work. The news of 102 murders also spread at the same time.
The weekend was just a day short. She started preparing for the report.
...
Lucas returned to his room. The news shook his mentality.
"Why did it happen like this?"
[You should have gone yourself.]
"But still this is too much. After the war, this must be the highest body count found in a place."
[The reward has been unfrozen.]
[Releasing the reward.]
[Reward: Asset-- Spider CyberNet]
[Spider CyberNet
Rank: None
Details: Largest information selling and buying network. They have roots on every continent.]
"This is a nice reward, right?"
[Nice... You weren't supposed to get it right now.]
"I am not supposed to... You are the one giving me rewards. You are saying as if you don't have control over it..." Lucas said reading the details of the asset.
[I have and don't too. Your luck is good, I guess.]
"So why are there so fewer details on this asset? What do I need to do?" Lucas asked.
[You have to do nothing. If you need any information, send them a message and you will get it.]
The system would have continued, but its robotic part took control.
[Ding! Infamy broke through 10,000.]
[Milestone reached. A character profile received.]
[Host has reached enough fame to debut as a rookie gangster.]
[Warning... Warning... Debut canceled.]
[Warning... Warning... Debut canceled.]
[System override completed..]
[Making changes to the pre-established rules.]
[Changes completed.]
[Host has reached fame to debut as a shadow lurking in the dark.]
[Updated changes prohibit the host from revealing his true identity with his violation.]
Lucas waited till the text dancing in front of his eyes finally settled.
"You okay..."
[Yes. I needed to make some changes.]
"Show me the infamy panel."
[Infamy: 11057
Fear-factor: 2]
[Your idea of hiding behind the scenes seemed to have worked. You reached the first milestone so early.]
Lucas didn't know how to answer. "Looks like this data gathering is not properly working."
[I understand your confusion. Let me make this simple. John Wick is a Hitman. There is always someone responsible for releasing a hit. And you are that person.]
"I know that much. What's the benefit of having infamy if I can't reveal myself?" Lucas said.
[You can use Infamy points to roll this thing.]
A prize wheel appeared in front of him. There were 50 divisions on the wheel. There is a prize to be won at every part.
[100 points for one roll.]
'That's cheap. What's the catch?'
[There is no catch. The prize wheel will change into new prizes after each increase in fear-factor.]
"Roll ten times," Lucas said. He was curious to see what was inside the box.
[Roll complete.]
[You won a black bow tie * 10.]
"This is dog shit. You said there was no catch." Lucas said.
[I don't see any catch. You won that is what matters.]
"Roll ten times again."
[Roll complete.]
[You won a black-tie* 8, a black bow tie* 2.]
"Again."
[You won a box of cigar*10]
"..."
"I am not interested anymore."
"Release the character profile."
[Releasing character profile.]
[Character name: Mickey Haller

Location: Calisota state.]
Lucas looked through the profile and it surprised him. Being from Calisota, Lucas has seen Mickey in the news a couple of times as well.
"I can get this done after returning, right?" Lucas asked. He wanted to confirm that he would have to rush this time too.
[Yes.]
There was still one day of survey left. He wanted to visit a few places in Keystone after the survey, but he booked the flight for the next day evening.
...
Somewhere in San Andreas State...
In the basement of a house, a guy in his thirties has set up a setup of twelve monitors and a system covering the entire basement.
Code name 'Third Eye', he is the acting leader of Spider CyberNet. He was a hacker and a terminal for an information database in San Andreas
"I hope this is the end then..." Third Eye was worried about the end of the CyberNet.
It has been six months since the leader of CyberNet has been off-grid. It was easy to guess that the leader was either dead or retired.
Both cases will eventually lead to the demise of Spider CyberNet.
There was one person in each state of the Valentia continent as well as other continents and everyone was anxious at the time.
They could easily run CyberNet. They have resources and enough people. But they lost their protector when they lost their leader. If they got into any trouble, no one would come to save them.
And the number of enemies they have made due to selling crucial information was uncountable. Everyone will become a pig for slaughter without the leader.
Third Eye attempted to contact a few of the informers and hackers to work with him, but did not receive any response.
Ting!
A familiar sound sounded in his ear after it had been stagnating for six months.
His body jolted up and his body moved into a straight position. He dragged the mouse to open the encrypted message…
This message was delivered to every person similar to the Third Eye in each state and on all continents.
The content of the message was the same for everyone.
[Activate the Network.]
