Three Royal Guard

Returning from the closing event of the summer festival. All the way home, Qing Yang just wanted to stay silent and didn't say a word and hoped to get home quickly, locking herself alone in her room. She just wanted to be alone. On the other side, Shan Du, obviously had a lot of questions on his face. But he was reluctant to ask because he saw Qing Yang's tense and serious expression as if she was thinking about something. 'Maybe I should wait until we get home, have dinner and during leisure time he will come to her room to ask' Shan Du thought to himself.

Arriving at home. Qing Yang rushed her way in. Walked to her bedroom. Just stopped briefly to greet Grandma who was sitting on the terrace and without waiting for an answer from Grandma, she continued walking towards her room.

Grandma knitted her brows in surprise, it wasn't something Qing Yang would normally do. glanced at Shan Du, but only saw him shrugging his shoulders and raising his hands, turning his palms up, signalling that he himself didn't know either.

All he knew was that Qing Yang received a gift from the Emperor at the conclusion of the summer festival. And this is already known by the grandmother. And finally, Grandma decided to ask her after dinner.

Qing Yang reached her room. Closed the door behind her, leaned against the door and slid down to the ground. Her gaze was blank staring ahead. Right now, she just wanted to be alone. Her face was just look pensive without expression. Her memories went back to when the emperor stood before her on the stage earlier. The sounds around her no longer bothered her. It was as if everyone had stopped making noise.

Outside the room. All three's plans had to be dashed when there was a knock at the Gate. Tan Ruo who was sitting with Grandma stood up and walked to the door to open the door for anyone who came. When he opened the door, in front of the gate of the house there were 3 royal guards.

Tan Ruo tilted her head to the side, astonished. It was the first time he saw Royal Guards coming to Xiao Hai's house. And judging by their Armor, they were not ordinary guards. But the royal guard.

Wasting no time, the guard standing in the middle said, "Is Miss Qing Yang at home?

Tan Ruo, who still looked confused, didn't answer the guards' questions, afraid to say the wrong thing whether they were not ordinary guards, at that time the only thing he thought about was Grandma. He immediately lowered his head, opened the door wide to let the guards in.

"Please come in, sir," he said as he ushered the guard in. Then shouted for Grandma. "Grandma…."

The guard almost stopped when he heard the screams of a small child opening the door for them. The one he asked was Qing Yang but why the one being called was Grandma. But the guard did not show his embarrassment. With a friendly expression stepped in and walked past the boy.

Tan Ruo closed the door as the three guards had entered. Then ran, again calling Grandma. "Grandma…"

Grandma had been waiting patiently for a while, letting Tan Ruo open the door because he was always curious about little things. Seeing the guards who came, and she also knew from the Armor worn by the guards in front of her was not an ordinary guard. Grandma asked politely. "Is there anything I can help you with, Mister?"

"The emperor ordered us to pick up Qing Yang, is she home yet?"

The guard informed then asked politely, even though he was a royal guard it didn't mean he gave up his manners, he bowed his head because the one standing in front of him was a grandmother.

"Oh yes, she just came home a while ago" without waiting and asking further. Because grandma knows that if the one who asks is the royal guard, let alone the one who gives orders is the direct emperor. She didn't expect to waste any more time.

"Ruo, call Qing Yang!" Grandma shouted giving orders.

"Okay Grandma". Tan Ruo replied, immediately left with a run and his small figure disappeared at the end of the corridor of the living room.

Qing Yang was still lost in her thoughts when she heard a knock on the door behind her. With a gasp, she immediately stood up. Turned to face the door, reluctant to open it.

"Qing Yang open the door, Grandma is calling". Tan Ruo shouted on the other side of the door.

Qing Yang slowly raised her right hand, grabbed the doorknob and opened it. The figure of Tan Ruo appeared before her.

"Hey. Hurry up, Grandma is calling," said Tan Ruo, who immediately grabbed her hand and pulled her out.

"Wait a second", Qing Yang just realized she was still holding the Parchment she received from the emperor. She let go of Tan Ruo's grip, turned around, walked over to the table and put down the parchment. After that she turned towards her bedroom door, stepped out and closed the door.

Tan Ruo impatiently held her hand again, pulling her towards the living room. His small feet made his footsteps not so big that he had to run a little bit in hopes of not wasting time for Grandma and the Royal guard.

"Patience Ruo, what made you rush like this and why did Grandma call?" she asked as she looked up at the sky, suddenly she remembered that she had not prepared dinner.

"Ok..ok...Ruo I know". Just as she was about to turn around, to walked towards the kitchen.

Tan Ruo who was still holding her hand immediately pulled her to prevent her from leaving. "Not there Qing Yang but to the front porch, there are Guards looking for you" this time Tan Ruo told.

Qing Yang instantly stood still. She looked at Tan Ruo intently. Did she hear it wrong? she asked herself. Why a guard looking for her

Seeing no reaction from her, Tan Ruo forced to pull her, walking even faster towards the living room.

In the distance Qing Yang already saw that there were three Guards and one of them was none other than the Guard she had always seen with the Emperor. Her eyes stared at the guard in surprise, what was he doing here. Arriving in front of Grandma and Guards.

"Miss Qing Yang" greeted the guard who was standing in the middle while moving his head slightly forward.

"Qing Yang, the emperor is looking for you and this Royal Guard is here to take you to the emperor." Grandma said explaining the confusion on her face.

She glanced at the guards, and she remembered the emperor's whisper the moment after she received the gift from the emperor earlier. Her body tensed up, her hands clasped forward nervously. When the emperor told her earlier, she did not expect that the emperor would send his Guards to pick her up. But if the don't come either she will forget about it too.
