Follow the Emperor

"Well, you know well my habit that I didn't mingle with people, but in some special circumstances I can appear in any place that I would like to spend the time with" retort Xuan Lung with his casual attitude in front of the emperor.

"That why I am asking you, is there any special event here that I didn't notice to happen" remark Xuan Ti that now have stand between Qing Yang and Xuan Lung. He gazes from Xuan Lung to Qing Yang And he saw the anxious face on her.

'Did he do something to make she felt uncomfortable? Sometimes his appearance will make other people feel intimidated with his silent gaze' he made concluded by the last sentences he thought inwardly.

He also thankful he is here, when he walks away went to main hall to attend the audience, some how he felt anxious toward Qing Yang. Left her alone in this pavilion doesn't sit well in his mind. But here he is still feeling anxious on the presence of Xuan Lung. Is this the cause of his feeling? But why?

He knows well Xuan Lung and he glad he is here but the scene Infront of him, made him feel unsettle. 'Maybe he just wants to spend the time here as now have wonderful scene weather' he concluded his dilemma.

"I saw the unordinary scene that heavenly bird mingles with this girl, none of us known the bird don't make that attitude. I just want to make a friend with this girl. And you also known that I am not like to mingle with other that easy. She just impresses me the way the bird perch at her finger and she dance with happy face" explain Xuan Lung try to divert his truly attention with the girl. To make Xuan Ti not curious, he steps away to the side where he can enjoy the scene.

"Wow is that true?" he asks to her with surprise face and his eyes shine brightly.

With the emperor surprise gaze on her. She doesn't know how to react. She truly didn't know why the bird will perch on her shoulder. She thought that just ordinary bird, flying around on the sky to enjoy the morning scene here. She just simple reply "I like birds, I spend time with the birds when I visit the forest".

"And where is the bird now?" ask the emperor with intrigue expression on his face.

"Fly away when I approach her" reply Xuan Lung nonchalant voice still gazing the scene Infront of him.

"I miss the opportunity then" said the emperor with disappoint face.

"Your Majesty, why you return here, should you have audience to attend with?" ask Qing Yang curious.

With that question made the emperor become awkward, he couldn't convey the reason why he returned here to her. So, he tries to make some excuses.

"I left the scrolls here, I came back to bring the scroll with me so, I can discuss the matter in main hall" he replies with firm voice but inside, his heart beat crazy fast, like racing horse in the horse race. This is the first time he felt that way. No one could ever make him beat his heart like this.

Since he made this excuse, he must leave now, otherwise both of them will be curious with him.

"Okay, I take my leave then" said the emperor then he turns around but relucted to leave.

Qing Yang start to feel anxious again if the emperor living her here. She doesn't have a choice but to accept the invitation of the man beside her. She tries her luck to asking the emperor. She knows this is impossible but better try rather not to.

"Your Majesty" she calls the emperor a while bows her head slightly to regain the emperor attention, and she smile widely when she sees the emperor turn around to face her.

"Yes" he replies shortly.

"Is it possible if I follow Your Majesty to the main hall" before the emperor could react, she continues "I didn't mean to follow you inside the main hall, I will wait Your Majesty outside the main hall during your audience with the ministers and senior scholar" this time she bows deeply with her heartbeat faster, waiting for the emperor to reply.

Xuan Lung heard this, smirk could be seen on his face. He knows she just make the excuse to refuse he's invitation, it's seemed he need to find another plan to approach her.

Emperor eyebrows frown, his head tilt to left side slightly 'I think something happen between them, otherwise why she asks something like that' bright smile appears on the emperor's face.

"Are you Okay with that? it could take time for me to accomplish the audience" he asks her, his mind running in front of the main hall, as he remembers there are small cottage in there. So, if she stays there should okay for her. Good thing is, when he finished the audience and when he steps out the main door, he can immediately see her.

Before she could reply to the emperor, Xuan Lung cut her speak "Rather you spend time in there, it's better for you stay here to enjoy the scene here and play with the bird, who know they will perch on your shoulder again" he tries to influence her mind, he turns around to face her.

Both eyes see its other. One side see his prey with sharp gaze, on one side see him with anxious and her hand trembling, she tries to focus. 'How cunning he is' she thought inwardly 'that just an excuse so, if she stays here after emperor leave, he will be asking her to go to the place he said before. She firmly makes her decision.

"Thank you for your concern, Mister, I think I can play with the bird later, when I visit to the forest again, in the forest I can play freely" her last sentence is to make it clear for him, rather play here its better play with the bird in the forest. She wishes there is no other more arguing with him.

The smile on his face dies down, he just silent and do not wish to speak other words to her.

'I will see how long you will avoid me' he thought in his mind and a smile could be seen again on his face.

When she didn't hear any reply, she feel relieve and then she turns to face the emperor and bow slightly and reply "I wait patiently in there Your Majesty, please don't worry with me, as I can read one of the books in here If you don't mind, I can borrow for a little while, a while I wait Your Majesty to finish the audience" she said politely as to begging something awful had happen.

"Sure, you can have it, I don't mind with that" retort the emperor immediately, don't want to waste time anymore. Before he turns around and leave, he speaks to Xuan Lung.

"Hai Zian, you can have your peaceful time here as usual to enjoy the scenery as much as you like" without waiting Xuan Lung to reply. The emperor turns around and leave with Qing Yang follow behind him. Before she turns to follow the emperor, she steps to the table in middle of pavilion to pick up a book as she asks the emperor before, after that she follow the emperor to leave. and all the guard follow after them to go to the main hall.

"Tsk, such a gentleman as usual" murmur Xuan Lung to himself, as he will follow the emperor wish.

Xuan Lung just spends a few minutes in the pavilion, as he knows there is no one in the garden. Without hesitation he uses his power to disappear, in thin air he sights couldn't be see no where around the pavilion even around the Garden.

Human only know the four king is the king the four corners of the kingdom, they didn't know they are the Dragon Kings. Its mean they are not allowed to show their power to the human to avoid disaster. Humans are greedy, they like power, the more power they gain the more benefit they will get. They will fight its other to become the most powerful person. To conquer and reign the kingdom if they have to.

Some of them have brilliant mind but sometimes they used for wrongdoing. With Xuan Ti rule the kingdom. No one dare the go against his will. Because since he rules the kingdom. They get peaceful life, prosperity, and happy life.
