It was a long journey for Xuan Yuan, sitting on horseback for days was not a pleasant experience for him. Not to mention that this journey was very hard for him who was used to living in the neat and beautiful Banquan Palace. But all this is a change and a new adventure in his life.
The road is rocky and full of small pebbles as far as the eye can see even though it looks arid and barren, providing relief and beauty that is beyond measure. Imagine, surrounded by mountains on the right and left endlessly, ranging from mountains in the form of dust, to rocks, even though they have passed through the valley, in the next valley there are only mountains that all along the way.
The path that seemed to meet the outline of the skyline stretched in the distance. The width and length of the road seemed to blend with the surface of the vast and limitless desert of rock and dry land. Once in a while there is a clump of dry trees where there is a collection of country houses that look barren and dusty in the middle of the valley.
The boundaries of the horizon begin to appear, when you enter a rocky mountain area. The surface of the hill that originally looked arid now clearly shows chunks of large rocks with wild plants growing, making the surface covered with moss that has been formed over the years.
Not to mention some mountains whose peaks are covered with snow. It is appropriate to be dubbed as the roof of the world. The end of the journey ends in a green lowland, with barley fields everywhere.
The land of Tham felt peaceful in Xuan Yuan's heart as soon as he set his foot on it. Peace filled his heart. Beautiful country. Small flowers grew wild in the wide expanse towards the city. The valleys lined up as if to say welcome to a peaceful land.
They continued to gallop, down the path, not far away, a town appeared. The two of them continued walking into the city. People walked aside as soon as they saw them, their eyes filled with deep fear. "Zhi Qiang, why are they filled with so much fear when they see us?" Xuan Yuan asked in surprise.
"Because this country is under the rule of Master Chi You," replied Zhi Qiang briefly, as he looked around.
Master Chi You's name was enough to answer Xuan Yuan's question. One of the guards approached them.
"Sir" said the guard as he bowed his head to Zhi Qiang.
"Where is the place?" Zhi Qiang asked without wasting any time.
"Over there sir" pointed to a mountain which was the largest and tallest.
"Come on, Xuan Yuan, Chah..." said Zhi Qiang and spurred his horse to go faster. Xuan Yuan also accelerated his horse and the guard also followed behind them.
At the bottom of the valley, the mountain looks much bigger, standing strong which when made into a pillar, the mountain is able to support the whole earth.
"How does the light look and what does it look like?" Zhi Qiang asked the guards without glancing at him.
"We saw the light from the centre of the city, at first it shone bright white, then turned into a small beam of light flying upwards. We just came here to see. But when we got here there was nothing. Only the house is left behind." Said the guard, pointing towards the house.
Zhi qiang dismounted from the horse towards the house that the guards pointed at, followed by Xuan Yuan. The house was empty and uninhabited, it looked like the house had just been left by the occupants. The glass still has a little water left on the table and the Tsampa Dough which is only piece left. The whole house was searched but the object they were looking for was not there.
Zhi Qiang, Xuan Yuan, and the guards returned to the centre of the city. Again, a sense of fear pressed against Xuan Yuan's chest. Feelings that want to rebel but are stuck on the edge of desire. His hands and feet froze. The bone-chilling fear, the pain, the suffering, the worry all mixed into one. Their horses kept going. Xuan Yuan's eyes suddenly met a girl with a slightly round face leaning more towards an oval, black hair in a back braid. She was almost as tall as him. Walk in the opposite direction.
Nhamso also looked at the young man riding ahead. She had a bad feeling, like a blunt object being stabbed into her chest made her breathing cavities closed and she could barely breathe. Nhamso fell down, she is look in pain. Xuan Yuan immediately got off his horse and greeted the girl.
"Xuan Yuan, don't..." said Zhi Qiang who didn't have time to stop him because Xuan Yuan had already put the girl on his lap.
Nhamso was in the arms of a man she did not know, her eyes narrowed at the man's eyes, again she felt the sensation of being pulled by space and time, everything was going very fast, this time she was on the beach, the waves were crashing hard on the shore. It seemed like it was getting close to afternoon, for the sun was hanging in the reddish sky. In front of her appeared a woman and an adult man. The women dressed as commoners while the men dressed like someone from a noble family. They talked at length, like lovers. At the end, the man hugged the woman tightly. Time and space raced in her eyes again, all spinning around making her head spin. Seconds later, a muffled sound was heard...
"Miss….Miss…" Xuan Yuan called to the girl who was in his lap.
Nhamso's eyes flickered, adjusting her gaze. Her eyes met Xuan Yuan's again. "Hmm... sorry, I'm fine" she said as she tried to get up, holding her head which was still dizzy.
"Are you sure?" asked Xuan Yuan to confirm.
"Yes...." Nhamso said in scared, hurried standing to her feet, ran away from them.
Xuan Yuan stood up and saw the girl running away and disappearing at the end of the road. Zhi Qiang rode his horse close to Xuan Yuan. Give his horse. Xuan Yuan got on his horse, and they walked back through the city towards the inn.
Zhi Qiang was still searching for information about the light that shone a few days ago. Discuss and make plans with some guards in a restaurant. Xuan Yuan didn't want to interfere, he walked to the window looking at the atmosphere outside. looking in all directions.
This city had the usual activities of a city but in every eye, there was a glint of fear. In the distance Xuan Yuan saw a girl who had fallen and was almost unconscious walking towards the south, towards Langma Mountain. Seeing that Zhi Qiang was having a serious conversation he didn't want to disturb, Xuan Yuan left the restaurant and quietly followed the girl he saw earlier.
Nhamso stood by the river looking up at the sky. One word came out of her mouth. "Grandfather" again fell silent. Nhamso immersed herself, sitting on the quiet bank of the river. A voice startled her.
"Beautiful Isn't it?"
Nhamso looked back, her eyes caught the man on the street earlier. She immediately stood up and wanted to run. But her steps stopped.
"No, please" stopped the man "I'm not what you think, I know from my clothes, you think that I'm from a country that controls your country by force, right? I don't want that." Xuan Yuan explained walked closer to Nhamso "When I set foot in this country, I felt a very deep peace. In every corner of the city there are so many objects of respect. Many of those objects have been destroyed. But you all still respect the object even though it was destroyed when you passed the object. This country is suffering but you still have very, very strong faith."
Nhamso was still silent.
"When I saw you, there was something strange, I felt like I knew you, I had met you before. I feel we are very close."
