Super Star(4)

In his family, Dan is the youngest and has two older sisters, Ivy and Amy. He grew up with his two sisters babysitting and taking good care of him since his mother left them when he was a little boy. His father had a hard time raising them on his own. Even though he had many things that he needed to handle and figure out, Eric still tried his best to be a good father. Dan felt the love from his family, and he always wanted to do something to repay them, so the day he received the phone call from the Fighters, he made a promise to himself that one day he would pay back everything to his family and make them proud. Dan's father said that they were not wealthy but at least they didn't need to worry about money, so Dan had to be grateful and appreciate everything he had because he was lucky to have them, be nice and try to help other people if he could. Dan keeps that in mind. He's become a professional athlete, and it's time to be an influencer to help people and give them kindness.

Time goes by, a couple weeks later, Dan's lying in the bed, and it's already October. The night before Dan leaves for Taiwan, he sits at his desk using his laptop to search for information about his new teammates. "Let's see. Matt, Juan, Ray…" He's browning the names, and a name catches his attention. "Oh?! This one is interesting, Josh Yang, a submarine pitcher? That's sick!!" Dan chuckles. He stares at the screen and looks forward to meeting other boys. He's about to begin his adventure in Taiwan tomorrow. "It's gonna be great." The boy's excited and starts to look for some videos of the submarine pitcher. Dan keeps watching those videos until his bed time, before he goes to bed, Dan decides to do his final checking on his packages. He stands on the floor and looks around to make sure he isn't missing anything for Taiwan, then he hears someone knocking on the door, he goes, "Come in."

It's Ivy, she opens the door then walks in, and she goes, "Hey, are you busy?" The older sister's checking on her little brother.

Dan stops the process and turns to her, "A little bit. Just working on my final checking" and he answers. "What's up?" Dan asks.

"Nothing." Ivy shakes her head and stands at the entrance, then she smiles. She looks at Dan and can't believe the needy boy who used to cry and follow her all the time is now leaving them. "Do you need my help here?" Ivy asks.

"Uh…" Dan scans his room, "I think I'm good. Thanks." then he replies.

"Okay." Ivy smiles, "Anyway, just checking on you, and good luck, Dan." The sister is wishing her little brother all the best.

"Thanks."

Before she turns around and walks away, "You've grown up, haven't you?" Ivy smiles.

Dan smiles too, "Uh…I guess so." Then he shrugs.

"That's good."

"Yup."

"Are you excited?" Ivy asks.

"Hell ya!!!" Dan laughs.

"Excellent. You take care, ok?"

"I will." Dan nods.

"Don't make us worry."

"I won't." Dan laughs, "I'm fine. I'm not a baby anymore."

"No, you aren't." Ivy shakes her head and smiles again. She checks the time, "Well. It's late. I better go."

"Ok. Good night."

Before she closes the door, Ivy stands out of the room, holding the handle in her hand, and she asks, "Are you sure you don't need help?" once again.

"Yup." Dan answers, "Just go. Please."

"Ok." Ivy shrugs then closes the door.

After Ivy leaves, Dan stares at the closed door and sighs, "Finally. She's always worried." and he wonders why his sister worries about him all the time.
