Chapter nine... Team work

Chris ran in and gave a superman punch quickly rolling away from the man as Jason stroke the man's shouldet causing him to let out a shout,

"you filthy rats" he said swinging his bat at Jason who just stood there with a smile. The next secong, the bat changed direction hitting the floor and Jason stabbed the man through the belly then Chris ran in and kicked the sword deeper,

"ahhhhh" the man screamed and went on one knee but immediately after stood up again,

"doesn't this man ever die" Chris said as he could feel the pains all over his body again but he bared through it. Jason pulled his sword out using the chain attached to it and threw it back at the man,

"that won't work on me" suddenly the sword changed direction again and cut the man by the side of his stomach,

"Chris, Jason, come here" John said as he kept on distracting the man by throwing things at him,

"I have a plan to end him quickly" John stated with a sinister smile and told them his plans. Jason first walked up to the man alone then threw his sword at him again but this time before it reached him it dissapeared and so did Jason and the man. When they appeared again they were in a plain environment with green grass spread across the floor,

"where am I" the man said angrily and held his bat tighter,

"doesn't matter, I'll end you and when I get back, I'll kill your little friends too" the man said as he ran at Jason who bore a frown, when the man was close, a sword came out from the floor and flew past the man slightly grazing his cheek causing the man to retreat,

"where did that come from" he said being more cautios this time,

"Nobody has ever survived when beholding my powers, since you're a dead man, I'll tell you, i have the ability to bring people into my dimension where i have complete control, you can't win me whike we are here" then from nowhere, vines came out from the floor and held the man, he struggled but no matter how much he struggled, he couldn't remove the vines,

"struggling is useless, now die" he said putting his hand foeward and a fist with heat waves coming off it appeared and hit him in his belly causing a hole to form through his belly,

"that went well" Wong said and the terrian changed back to normal and Chris was seen where the fat guy was with his fist slightly burnt. What Jason really did was his ability called genjutsu. It's an ability that activates when there is eye contact. This gives the caster complete control over their target's mind, he can make illusions in the victims, control him to do what he wants or even shut down the victims mind making them pass out and when he used his ability, Chris ran and used all his energy to punch a hoke through the bandit.

  After they defeated the man they turned back expecting to finish off the minions but they were all knocked out and Wong laughing,

"excellent job, you all passed" Wong laughed and tapped them on thier backs,

"thank you all for helping us, if you want you can stay and have dinner before you go back" Brock said bowing his head and it seemed like Wong already set up the teleporter,

"you kids go ahead, you deserve it" Wong said with a cheerful smile and they happily went,

"yep, they passed excellently, they might be ready for the 'only one' carnival" Wong said and his smile turned into a frown.

  After they ate and got healed up, they got into the teleporter and went back to school,

"that was fun, let's do this again sometime" John said but then Chris and Jason just walked away and back to thier dorms to rest up.

  When they got back they were greeted by thier wierd third roommate and got to sleep,

"hey boy" Tye called and Chris went into his mind space,

"I sense something troubling around this school, something familiar and it senses like one of my family" Tye said and for the first time his head was down,

"family?" Chris asked in confusion,

"we were a family, all of us were phoenix's but we didn't live near humans for obvious reasons, but one day, we met a human that changed our lives for the better, until...".

Sorry for the very short chapter but because of the hectic work at school I haven't been able to update, I'm so sorry. As an apology, I'll release two chapters tomorrow. And know that something interesting will happen in chapter 13 😉 😉 ✌️ ✌️
