Issue #5

"So... if what Jack here is telling me is correct, you all are... potential world conquerors?" Loki asked curiously

"Partially. Jack has taken over this realm so that mutants can have their own place to live in peace. Morgan and Doom want their own realms because they want to rule as they wish but they have no interest in conquest beyond that," Emma tried to explain their reasoning

The group wasn't truly made up of those that wanted to dominate others. They just wanted to rule their own realm in peace.

Jack and Emma wanted Utopia to become a haven for mutants. If they had to kill a bunch of violent and less advanced humans, they would be willing to do that.

Morgan also wanted to live in a realm in peace. She knew that her past would end in failure so she wanted to move her operations to a place where she could live in peace and without having to worry about other gods' influence.

And Doom... well he was Doom. He thought that only when he ruled, would there be true peace. So he wanted a realm of his own to prove this theory so that the governments of Earth would peacefully surrender to him.

Loki didn't really care what their goals were if she were being honest. She just needed to make sure that they did not stand in the way of her own goals.

"So how are we going to divide the 9..."

"10. Odin has one hidden away," Jack interrupted

"Huh. Of course, he has. How are we going to divide the 10 Realms?" Loki asked

"Well, the Neo, new mutant name pending, have Jotunheim so we don't need a second one. Midgard belongs to the humans, I'm sure none of us want to fuck with your daughter in Niffleheim, getting to Heven sounds like a bitch and a half, and you want Asgard," Jack said while removing the realms they didn't want to deal with or were unavailable

"I will take Svartalfheim for myself. The Dark Elves seem to have the realm with magical energy just running through it. That will be the best place to move Avalon," Morgan stated which realm she was staking her claim over

"Then Doom shall Alfheim for himself. Their natural people should prove to be excellent citizens while their land is lush and beautiful. Valeria shall enjoy visiting me there," Doom made claim to the land of the Light Elves

"And this shall be a temporary military alliance until we conquer our realms before turning into a defensive alliance unless otherwise requested," Emma explained the finer details of the Cabal. "We will conquer in the order that is needed. Alfheim first, then Svartalfheim, and finally Asgard after we build up our strength enough. Does anyone have an issue with this?"

Morgan and Doom naturally did not have any issue. Doom was first while she was a time-displaced magical queen. Time was meaningless to her. The one that everyone was truly worried about was Loki.

"I am also fine with it. I have waited thousands of years. Waiting for a few more will be of no issue for me," Loki explained her patience.

She was an Asgardian. Although her origin had changed during this life since she was a Frost Giant, she would always be a member of the Asgardians so she was tied to their cycle of destruction and rebirth known as Ragnarok.

The number of times she had died was numerous. But while the rest of the Asgardians were fine with this cycle, she was not. For her past 4 lives, she had rebelled against Ragnarok.

But by rebelling against Ragnarok, she was also betraying her fellow Asgardians. So while she was fighting for a cause she believed was just, the others saw her as nothing more than a traitor. They no longer included her as one of them but simply tolerated her as an outsider.

And that was even more apparent in this lifestyle. Where she was no longer even a true Asgardian. Before she even realized it, her mission for freedom was turned into a war against the people she wanted to free.

Although they did not know her history, the other members of the Cabal were more than willing to join forces with Loki. As much chaos that she caused, it was all directed at someone. She never went out of her way to cause issues or pointless harm to those she did not have issues with.

Doom, Morgan, and Loki left after ironing out a few more details while Jack and Emma stayed in Utopia. He actually brought her to the lab within the depths of Krakoa.

Emma looked around the lab before whistling and saying sarcastically,

"Nice place you got here. The bloodstains on the ground really bring out the mad scientist motif you seem to be going for."

"I suppose I could clean this place a bit. It has always just been me in here so I never really thought about it. Anyway..." Jack said before smacking a table next to him, "Strip and hop on here."

Emma nodded while still looking around the lab, particularly in the room that had naked clones of younger versions of several X-Men before getting on the table.

Once she was laying on the table, Jack pulled out one of the serums he had created before and injected Emma with it.

The woman's beautiful, pale naked body began to transform. She was no longer the same beautiful woman she always was but instead a woman composed of living diamonds.

Emma sat up on the table as she examined her body and smiled. Her smile sparkled more than Jack had ever seen it before.

"So this is the surprise you decided to give me? I have to say, I am amazed by you once again, Darling."

Jack held out his hand to help her get down from the table which she took as she jumped off the table. But not used to her increased strength, Emma ended up breaking the table and flying through the ceiling of the lab.

Seeing her take off into the air, Jack whistled.

"Huh. So not just increased durability but other superhuman levels of physical enhancements? I knew I should have tested this on a clone that was awake," Jack said to himself before flying off to pursue Emma

Author's Note:

Pick these letters in whatever order you want. S, R, and O. This will determine the next 3 major arcs. But I don't feel like putting them in order so letting you guys do that.

Each of these arcs will be longer than pretty much any other arc I have done so far. At least they are planned to be that way. The shortest one will be 10-20 chapters while the longest one will be 15-30 chapters. Not sure if I will put mini-arcs in between each of them for small breaks.
