Issue #5

Thor arrived right after the other Asgardians. In front of the group of drunk Asgardians was the All-Seeing, The Eternal Vigilant, The Son of Nine Mothers, Sif's older brother.

The one and only Heimdall. Due to his special eyes and loyalty to Odin, Heimdall was tasked with forever guarding the Bifrost and being the first line of protection for Asgard.

Seeing their group come back through the Bifrost drunk after they were sent to investigate the reason why he couldn't see into Jotunheim anymore, Heimdall frowned towards Thor and his sister.

"I sent you all to Jotunheim to investigate those matters I spoke of and you return drunk? I truly worry for the future of Asgard," Heimdall said to them as he shook his head

"Heimdall, old friend. When have we ever failed you in achieving a request of yours?" Thor asked with a smile

"Do you want the list in alphabetical or chronological order, Thor?" Heimdall asked

Hearing the question, Thor chuckled in embarrassment. The number of times he had been saved by Heimdall was far too many for the god to count.

"Maybe you can give me that list some other time, old friend. I must go inform Father of Loki's latest plot," Thor said before flying off and leaving the other drunk Asgardians for the two siblings to take care of.

Heimdall looked at his sister with a questioning gaze.

"You pretended to have drunk but do not think that you can fool my eyes. Even without looking within you, I can already tell what is going on. Does he know, sister?" Heimdall asked

Sif clutched her stomach protectively. The blushing of her cheeks became genuine while love filled her eyes.

"I have yet to tell him, Brother. Please. Give me time to figure out how I will tell him about our child," Sif pleaded with her brother

Heimdall nodded. Out of the thousands of times, he had helped Thor bend or break the rules, 99% of the time was because of his sister. With her pleading for his silence, he could only agree.

"I may agree to this but do not think I am the only one who is able to notice. I suggest that unless absolutely necessary, you stay away from the King and Queen if you wish to keep it a secret for a while longer," Heimdall warned his sister

"Thank you, Brother. I will take a short trip for a week or two before coming back and explaining the truth to them," Sif said before leaving the Warriors 3 and Tyr on the ground while she took the Bifrost to an undisclosed location

Heimdall watched his sister teleport away before turning to look at the pile of Asgardians next to him.

"Will you be telling your father, Tyr?"

"Nope. If I tell Father, he will force the pair together which will make Thor pull away. It is better to let them work it out themselves," Tyr said as he sat up from the ground

While they were talking with one another, Thor had arrived at the royal family's palace. He entered through the main doors and flew through the halls until he arrived in the throne room. There, his father was sitting on the throne while his mother sat next to him.

Thor got down on a knee before greeting them both.

"Father. Mother. I have returned," Thor said to the pair

"Stand, my son," Frigga said as she smiled at her stepson

"Thank you, Mother. I have come with a warning from a trusted friend. Loki plans to take action against Asgard once again within the next year," Thor told his parents. He then told them of the warning and situation in Jotunheim.

Odin and his wife listened patiently as Thor recalled all that he knew. When he was finished, Odin furrowed his brows.

"That Frost boy you speak of. I do not trust him, Thor. He knows too much of Loki's plans and his influence over Jotunheim is also strange. We must remain wary of him," Odin said after some consideration

But Thor was not willing to accept this so easily

"Father, I don't understand what you're saying. Jack has always been a loyal and trustworthy friend. Even if the circumstances are suspicious, I will still stand by his side."

"Even if he is not willing to stand by our side if Loki attacks?" Odin asked

"Would you stand by Zeus's side if Nyx and the Titans rebelled against him?" Thor countered. "He is a ruler, just like you. He can't join in any battle that he wants to but must think of the bigger picture, Father. You should understand that more than anyone."

Even against his father, Thor was willing to stand against him for the sake of his friends. Thor was always a warrior first before he was a prince. Which was why he had yet to inherit the throne from Odin.

"My foolish son. You will one day understand my actions and thoughts when you are king," Odin said after sighing. He knew he could not convince Thor to obey him. All he could do was have other Asgardians keep watch over Jotunheim.

While Thor was informing his father of Jack's warning, Jack had been taking care of Krakoa's small body. He had learned that this treant form was both an extension of the island itself while also being a clone of him.

After bringing the little clone back to the main island, Jack went through one of the flower gates to return back home.

He emerged from a gate he had hidden in the forest near the school. He didn't want it to seem like he had been hold up in his room all day. Jack flew back towards the front door of the mansion where Generation X was returning.

Besides the original members of the team, they had two more people with them. The first was Laura. Jack had encouraged her to join the team since she was more of a loner and she needed more friends around her age.

The other girl was someone that even Jack didn't recognize.

"This is...?" Jack asked while indicating towards the girl in a black bodysuit with a matching domino mask on her face

"A stray we picked up," Laura commented before walking inside. It was obvious that she did not have a good impression of the other young woman

"Hi, Teach. My name's Felicia but I also go by Black Cat. I hear this is the place to go if you're a teen mutant in need of a home," the silver-haired girl flashed him a smile
