(Well since Blacklight went out of their way to edit the original manga chapter where that line was, I will post another chapter for ya'll. But don't expect this to happen every time you guys do something like that.)
Zeus burned the body of another clone to the point where it could not be recognized. He then looked all around the battlefield at his fallen Olympians.
Athena was the first to fall. She could not even live until the clones transformed into their titan forms. Instead, several spears of black ice stabbed into her body from all over before she was beheaded.
The next to fall was Hera. She was the strongest after Zeus but was the worst matchup against Jack. His abyssal magic countered her divine magic while his superior psionic abilities countered her telepathy. She also lacked a magical artifact to help her in battle so her usefulness against Jack barely helped her beat out Athena as the second to fall.
Then there was Artemis. The goddess tried to match the clones by summoning the spiritual bodies of several deer but Jack's abyssal magic was able to nullify them. She tried to escape on her chariot but was far too slow. And without the space to run, Artemis was quickly overwhelmed as her body was torn to shreds.
Apollo put up the best fight of all the gods beside Zeus. He had the most divine gifts that he could use in a variety of ways without directly combatting Jack's abyssal magic such as raising the temperature around him to the point that he nearly melted the clones.
But when they shifted into their titan forms and unleashed their freezing abilities to their fullest, Apollo could barely heat himself up enough not to be frozen. He also had the best healing power so even as the clones damaged his body, he was able to recover from most injuries. It was not until a clone ripped off his head and ate it that the solar god died.
Zeus looked at the 18 titan clones in front of him before gesturing to the charred bodies of the two clones beneath him.
"Let's call it even, whatever your name is. Although I may not be able to kill you anymore, you also cannot kill me. It would be better if we call it even here and walk our own ways."
Zeus did not wish to fight any longer. He was the type that bullied the weak while fearing the strong. And even though he knew he was stronger than a single Jack, he wasn't confident in taking on 18 versions of him at once.
It was better to retreat at the moment and come back to kill Jack at some other point when he had an army that could wear done the new god.
The main body of Jack walked out from behind the titan clones. On his body was golden armor that used to be the Aegis shield of Athena. He used [Transmutation] to shift it into something that better suited his fighting style.
Jack also [Transmutation] to fuse both Artemis and Apollo's bow into a single divine bow that he could use that he named after his old code name, Leviathan.
All the other Adamantine that the Olympians were wearing or had as weapons had been teleported back to his home in Eden.
"I'm sorry but I'm unable to accept that outcome. I'm going to kill you. Not because you made yourself my enemy or tried to kill me or might try to kill me. Not even because you allied with that bastard clone of mine."
"Then why are you going to try to kill me?" Zeus asked while keeping his guard up
"Simple. I want to test the limits of my powers and I can't let such juicy prey get away from me."
The moment Zeus and the other Olympians turned their hostility towards him, he already considered them dead. Whether he killed them today or a month later after he absorbed Ymir, it didn't matter. He just knew that he wanted to take their powers and they had given him a reason to do it without any guilt.
"Monster."
"Thank you."
The pair teleported and appeared in front of one another. Both of them filled their bodies with their personal magical energies before clashing. Their blow rang across the star system they were in as they collided.
With each new divinity that he had taken, Jack could feel the amount of abyssal magic within him growing. It was like his power also craved to consume the Olympians as he did.
Zeus clashed with Jack and knew that he had underestimated him.
'I might be able to kill him by himself. But if I have to take on even more than one, this will surely end in my death!'
Zeus wanted to escape but he couldn't. The other clones had all surrounded the pair and were blocking off his divine magic from escaping past them. He could no longer teleport away.
With no other choice, Zeus pulled out his spear and stabbed toward Jack's chest which the latter ignored. Aegis protected him against the powerful bolt easily so Jack took the chance to transmute Leviathan into a double-sided spear before stabbing Zeus back.
The spear was able to stab a centimeter into Zeus before the god was able to retreat. After the initial two moves, the duo traded blow after blow.
Lightning and divine energy on one side while the other wielded black ice and abyssal energy on the other. Their colliding energy was powerful enough that even the clones in their titan forms were given several injuries.
But among the pair, it was Jack that was coming out on top. Jack was able to quickly heal from his injuries while Zeus was not.
'I either act now or I die!'
Feeling frustrated, Zeus decided to put his all into one final move. He allowed Jack to cut off his left arm as retreated and gathered all the remaining energy in his body.
Seeing what he was planning to do, Jack also gathered all of the energy inside of his body as well before sending it to the tip of his spear.
Both gods had the energy gathered into their weapons before they charged at one another. The collide of their attacks destroyed several star systems around them and set off many different alerts around the galaxy as such a large amount of energy terrified many advanced civilizations.
When the first civilization arrived, they were greeted by absolutely nothing. Everyone that had been inside the area of the energy had been completely destroyed. Entire civilizations, planets, and even disappeared into nothing.
And of the two that had caused it, one was dead while the other was recovering from their wounds in Eden.
