Harry is left in the storage room with a swirl of emotions flowing through his mind but he is strangely calm through all of this.

While he might not have realised the extent of his own feelings towards Fleur and Daphne but he always knew he cared about them. So not a lot has changed, he is just no longer in denial.

The fact that Daphne won't remember him stings a little bit more now but this is not anything new. Harry knows what he gave up in order to come back, he has spent almost 12 years more or less accepting that fact. Just because he now realised that he loves them doesn't change anything.

To Harry, loving someone is to care about them without expecting anything in return and wanting them to be happy. So it doesn't matter that his Daphne, the one he fell in love with no longer exists and is forever lost to him. He will do his best to make sure that this Daphne won't have to suffer what his Daphne had to. He just hopes that Daphne would find happiness in this new life.

Then Harry couldn't help but feel happy, he always taught he would be alone in this world, that no one would ever know what it's like to be the only one who remembers. That he would always have to carry this burden of knowledge alone while everyone else lives in blissful ignorance.

Now he actually has someone that understands what it's like to lose your entire world only to experience an entirely new one. Harry smiles thinking about he hasn't lost Fleur, that somehow against all odds and rationale she is here with him. It sounds so absurd but somehow their connection literally survived being thrown back in time.

Logically this shouldn't even be possible yet here they both are with their memories of a time that no longer exists. At least in Harry's case, he was helped by Death itself but Fleur remembers just based on their love. Truly the most outrageous and incomprehensible force in the world.

Harry doesn't even claim to understand love but as a mage, he has seen the effects love has on magic. Love somehow follows all the rules and principles of magic all the while simultaneously breaking every single one of them whenever it wants to. He has long since given up on the idea that he could ever understand even the basics of love and its impact on the workings of magic.

Yet even while being this chaotic and incomprehensible most people have experienced love in some capacity or another. It is soo interesting that you might never understand but can somehow just feel it.

Harry shook his head and stopped himself before he goes too deep inside this rabbit hole again. He then smiles just thinking about how Fleur is there, probably sitting with friends watching the duels. It blows his mind that he can just walk out of this room and see Fleur. He taught that he would never see his Fleur ever again.

Without wasting any more time Harry walks to the door and just as he opens the door a person is standing in front of him, the same person he is rushing towards, Fleur.

She looks like she was about to get to the door just as he opened the door. Harry couldn't help but smile seeing Fleur fluster when he unexpectedly opened the door. She smiles back but she looks a lit bit embarrassed.

Harry pulls her in and closes the door behind her, before he knows what happened they are snogging against the door. They both clearly have a lot to talk about but right now he doesn't need words to show her just how much he missed her.

After a while, they had to stop because of their body's need for air even then they are glued to each other with their foreheads pressed together. The room is only filled with the noise of heavy breathing as they just cling to each other without saying anything.

Harry moves his head back so he can look into those sparkling blue eyes "I thought you had to stay in your seats with your friends?"

"Those girls are not my friends just because we go to the same school. Also, they are at that young age when they are just annoying every time they open their little mouths. So I just made so excuse to get out of there besides I found someone far more exciting inside this supply room" Fleur answered with a grin.

"More exciting than a duelling tournament?" Harry said with a smirk.

Fleur nods "So much more exciting than that. Nothing and nobody else even comes close to this" once again her lips are on his.
