Chapter-17[Tangled Emotions]

Han Xiao suddenly stopped in his tracks as he remembered something and spoke, "Our bags are still in the classroom."

Liang Li instantly asked, "Should I go and fetch it, Young Master?"

Han Xiao shook his head, "There was nothing important in it, except a cigarette pack, so just let it stay in the classroom."

"Wait...you are still smoking?" Yao Ji coldly glared at Han Xiao.

Han Xiao looked at her with a confused look on his face as he asked, "Yes, is there some kind of problem?"

Yao Ji looked at him like a fool and asked back, "Does Aunt know about that?"

Han Xiao shrugged his shoulder, "She was the one who provided me with that stuff...you know, the most healthy one that she had specially created by the brand."

"I see...but I hope you don't over smoke again." Yao Ji nodded and advised.

"I know, so, where do you want to go now?" Han Xiao nodded and inquired what he was curious about.

'I need to go and purchase the lands for my first plan...'

Han Xiao already had the whole plan on what to do this week before the Apocalypse started, so he want to commence his plan as quickly as possible.

"I had to go to the Hua Mei Entertainment but the timing is around 4 PM, so I am going to spend it with you before that, or should I not?"

Han Xiao shrugged his shoulders, "I have no problem, but I have many places I will be needing to visit today."

"No problem."

"Then, Let's go."

Saying that Han Xiao started to walk toward the stairs. The whole corridor was empty as it was class time and no one was out and it was the Canteen Floor so it was hard to see students skipping the classes as this was a prestigious school where many of those that had good connections or those with influential families studies making them take the rules seriously except some run-out-of the mill students.

Climbing down the stairs, Han Xiao and the other two reached the ground floor and from there, they walked toward the gate to go out of the school.

Reaching there, the three of them continued walking with the sunlight falling on them.

When Han Xiao stepped out of the school gate and reached a little away from the school, a car drove in front of him. There were some people in the area but all were busy with their own works so no one took special notice.

The driver's seat door opened and a woman with blond hair wearing a black top and pants stepped out. The woman had a bright smile when she spotted Han Xiao and proceeded to hug him.

Han Xiao effectively dodged the hug and stepped behind while looking at the woman with a kind smile, "You will not get me, Aunt Jessie."

"Booh! Don't call me Aunty like that! Bocchan! I am only 18 years old!" The blond woman, Jessie booed at Han Xiao as she revealed her age.

"And you took care of me since I was 12...so why did you not grow at all?"

"It's magic! Bocchan! But you are still young to know about it!" Jessie replied while putting her finger on her lips.

Jessie and Liang Li were the ones who took care of Han Xiao since he was 12 with the first one's case and 10 with the latter one's case.

They both hadn't grown that much even when Han Xiao turned 18 and it was one of the reasons why Liang Li was able to go to the school with him, while Jessie looked more mature making her unable to go to the school with her Bocchan.

A thoughtful look appeared on Han Xiao's face, 'Is there really some magic involved? But it shouldn't be possible as, before the apocalypse, there was not a single ounce of Mana or whatever that energy was in the world, but I can't be sure too...my whole transmigration thing was weird in the first place...'

"Bocchan-Bocchan! You still here?!"

Hearing himself being called, Han Xiao came out of his thoughts and looked at Jessie who had a smirk on her face as she tried to hug him again. But Han Xiao was relaxed this time and don't even try to dodge.

Before Jessie could place Han Xiao in her evil hands and wrap him in the valley of heaven, a hand grabbed her from her collar, making her stop with a shake that trembled her whole body. Her breasts jiggled with the shock, those breasts shook up and down along with her clothes. That was a fascinating sight but Han Xiao was neutral to it.

'Did she not have any problem with those breasts...' Han Xiao thought as he observed those jiggling of the breasts with deep care, 'Or is there some deep meaning in those breasts...she used to say that she liked them big too...'

"Han Xiao...you do know that how rude it is to stare at a women's breasts like that?" Yao Ji's cold voice reverberated behind Han Xiao making him tremble a little and looked back to see Yao Ji standing there while her hands were on her breasts, emphasizing the moderate breasts that she had with a cold look on her face.

'Now, what happened to her?' He wondered.

"I wasn't staring or anything, just trying to find something..."

"And what was something that you were trying to find?" Yao Ji asked back.

"Bocchan! Save me!" Jessie's voice came from behind making both Han Xiao and Yao Ji turn their head and look at Jessie, and saw her being grabbed by the collar by a blond-haired man wearing the same black attire.

Han Xiao looked around and saw that his group was getting attention from the surroundings, so he turned toward his group and spoke, "We will talk later on, now we need to go back first."

"James, you are driving now, take us to the mansion quickly." Han Xiao continued while looking at the blond-haired man, James who nodded.

"Yes, Young Master." James nodded and released Jessie who immediately stood a little away from James while glaring at him.

Yao Ji shot a glare in Han Xiao's direction before entering the car along with Liang Li, and Han Xiao on the back seat. It was a limousine rather than a car so they were able to sit comfortably, with Han Xiao and Yao Ji sitting on the one side while Liang Li sitting in front of him.

Jessie and James took their seats with James driving the car.

During the drive, Han Xiao turned around and saw Yao Ji showing an uncomfortable look on her face making him curious about the reason, so he simply asked, "What happened?"

"What do you mean?" Yao Ji asked back with a frown appearing on her face.

"I mean, you have an uncomfortable look on your face, so I asked about the reason."

"No...There is nothing, I was just thinking that heart is a very mysterious thing, right?" Yao Ji replied with a thoughtful look on her face.

A confused look formed on Han Xiao's face as heard Yao Ji talking about mysterious feelings like this, 'Did she fall for someone? Well...I guess it is good as she was forced to be separated from the Protagonist, Yan Feng, and his group in the novel to save a group of students but she was also not talked about again in the next whole 8 volumes...so it would be good if she finds someone she loved, I guess I will try to keep that person alive...'

Han Xiao then placed his hand on his heart with a light pain that he felt when the image of Yao Ji standing with another man crossed his heart but the pain quickly vanished...but not the aftermath of that feeling, 'I see...Haa...now it would be pretty much problematic but I guess I could still help her...'

Yao Ji stared at Han Xiao as he placed his hand on his heart, 'He could read me like an open book...but why can't he do the same with my other feelings? Or is he ignoring them while knowing them? Haa...love is really tiring...I wonder, why did I even fall in love, being friends was the best...'

Yao Ji had been with Han Xiao for a long time...so it would be odd for her feelings to remain just pure friendship as it would quite unrealistic especially when both of them had some type of household.

"You are right, Heart is a mysterious thing...I can't even fathom how much emotions it would show us..." Han Xiao answered in a soft tone as he gazed into Yao Ji's eyes before looking out of the window.

Yao Ji shook her head and also looked out of the window.

Liang Li continued to stare at them with a deep thoughtful look on her face as she contemplated something.
