Fight

Worth a shot, because I don't think I can take in any more damage by this Mage. I agreed to it quicker than I could say anything and instead of deflecting the flowers, my blade was absorbing it. The unknown Mage looked shocked and halted her attacks instantly.

She pulled back and landed on the ground without making any sound. I placed a foot forward and my legs were bent to allow my front to be leaning slightly forwards. I held my sword in a stance called the Plow, which resulted in me holding the weapon around my hip area.

My sword tip was aimed at the Mage's neck. And as I looked at her, I was stunned to see that such a weapon could stand up to a longsword. Normally, the branch would've broken by now but it was still looking strong.

Longswords are known to be quite sturdy as both a defence and offense weapon. As we both stood in place, I was finally able to see the Mage's features. She was short and petite with very cutesy and round, full cheeks to match.

She strikes me as a very young Mage but her moves are that of a seasoned fighter. Either she can't grow or she had a pact with the Devil to preserve her baby-face. She had a pale complexion and medium-length pink hair, unbounded and left to be free in the wind.

At the left side of her head was a very pretty, dark purple orchid hairpin. Her outfit reminded me of an old colleague of mine. Instead of armor for a warrior, she was wearing a purple blouse with long sleeves, with a circular opening at her small cleavage. It was kinda cute to look at.

And for the lower half, a matching purple mini-skirt. Which revealed quite a bit of her slender thighs. I swear, I'm not lesbian but those legs of hers are enough to make my knees weak. She wore knee-high, pink boots with red laces.

I then got very confused if she was a Mage of this realm or a time traveler. I shook my head, I can't be thinking about such useless things now! I have to focus on my opponent before she turns me into a past tense! She vanished and appeared in front of me, crouching down.

I readied my blade in an Orchs stance to counter a thousand thrusts of her spear. It was a stance known to guard the user's head and prepare any attacking thrust or cut. Time seemed to slow down in my vision as I could predict where the next thrust was.

I managed to deflect all of it, in which she didn't seem pleased about it. She backed off abruptly, causing me to slam the sword into the ground due to imbalance. Her face remained as a blank expression as she took advantage of the situation and tried to stab me with the tree branch spear.

I rolled away and recovered by forming a ball and adjusting my feet to touch the ground. When I was ready, I launched myself upwards and prepared for an overhead strike. But this Mage has got the skills as she instantly knew what I was going to do and we ended up crashing once more.

Now I was vulnerable in the air as she shifted her weight to push me back. When I was left, falling in the air, she took her spear and stabbed it into the ground while grabbing on the other end. She used it as a long pole, propelling herself higher than me.

But since she was short, she settled with giving me a kick in the head. If I hadn't thrown up my sword at that time, my head would've divorced with my body. I was being flung towards an oak tree and she followed me as well!

I have no clue why everyone is trying to kill me so desperately but it's getting annoying. Since her moves were getting predictable, I managed to catch her off guard by changing the grip on my sword.

When she appeared in front of me to thrust, there was a split second that her abdomen was open, as she pulls back her arm to thrust the spear. I used the pommel of the sword to deliver a blunt blow to her abdomen. The Mage had no choice but to allow her head to go forwards.

But she quickly tried to stab me in the head but since her balance was gone, I was able to grab her throwing arm, essentially trapping her. I flipped the sword back and wanted to stab her to the tree. But, as I tried doing so, the 'Mage' burst into tiny, pink colors, hindering my sight for a while.
