Twelve Zodiacs, Brine King's Wrath

After all, I was already halfway through with the spell. I had to see this thing through without dying! And I couldn't forget that this duel was only a test. Bryan's power was merely a fraction of the Valkyrie. If I couldn't brave this, then I won't get a chance to even stand near that Valkyrie!

"How the hell do you have such kind of powers?! That's impossible!" shouted Bryan shakily.

I couldn't see him with all the lights around, so I could only assume he was readying for a defensive measure. Once all of the light and power were being absorbed, the brilliant display vanished, and I could finally see the battlefield again. I lifted my sword in silence.

"Hold on! Elizabeth, snap out of it! You're going to destroy the forest and me at this rate!" yelled Bryan as I stepped forward with the sword in hand.

I couldn't hear anything else other than the thunderous roar of power in my head. I switched positions for my blade, grasping it by the side of my body. I closed my eyes and jumped from my spot. I dashed about the area around Bryan, leaving bright, shining red balls of light around him.

There were a total of seven orbs of light that were engulfed in red flames. The Slayer quickly pulled and swung his scythes around in a frantic motion to take the balls of light out. But Bryan's scythes weren't able to damage as the orbs grew size.

"Scarlet's Hatred: Whirlwind Of The Oceansoul!" I called out as I opened my eyes.

The balls of light and flames combust simultaneously, with Bryan deep in its grasp. When each orb had exploded, several streams of water and darkness sprang out and clung onto the nearest surface. The grounds underneath wholly gave way, creating a giant crater in the land.

The Slayer tried his best to destroy the streams but to no avail as I dashed right into the crater, swinging my sword downwards to slice him. At this point, I wasn't thinking anymore. Now it was the streams of water and darkness that exploded.

"It's not done yet?!" yelled Bryan, avoiding the explosions.

"You've given me no choice. The Watergoat; Capricon. The Waterbearer; Aquarius. The Ram; Aries. The Golden Bull; Taurus. The Fishes; Pisces. The Crab; Cancer. The Scorpion; Scorpio. The Twins; Gemini. The Balance; Libra. The Virgin; Virgo. The Lion; Leo! The Centaur; Saggitarius."

Each time Bryan called out the name of a constellation, a zodiac symbol appeared in between our weapons as we clashed. And every clash we made, the Slayer shouted a word from the twelve zodiacs. I was still focused on the repercussion of the spell and wanted to end it quickly.

But seeing that Bryan was going to unleash the best thing he's got in his arsenal, I was guessing that I can't get out of this unharmed. After the final zodiac was announced, Bryan turned his scythes into a fan. He was doing the hurricane style again.

I tried my best to stop his attack, but my efforts were futile. That's when I took a look at the sky above him. The Twelve Zodiacs' symbols were plastered all around the skies. The emblems were all glowing in a spectrum of colors. And such domineering power comes from each sign.

Each emblem was blossoming out Elemental Powers equivalent to a single Mage. From my vision, a single symbol could do as much damage as a second-rate Mage?! This does not look good to me. But, hang on, I'm getting multiple signals of different Elements.

Does that mean those circular emblems will fire all types of Elements at once?! That's right... The novel had mentioned this briefly during the Albion Mission. Bryan was at his prime when the battlefield was an open area where the sky could be seen.

And if he were using the constellations, Bryan would never run out of Elemental Energy because he could draw power from the stars. But he isn't the only one with the p[ower of conversion. My sword started to shine once more as I gathered more power to deal with one final attack.

"As I draw the power from the Sun itself and Sins of the Darkness around us, I weave this spell right in front of you... Enhance it, O Lord Of Salt And Scale!" I chanted, placing one foot forwards with the blade pointing at Bryan.

"Combined Constellations! Stars of Twelve Zodiacs! Shine!" roared Bryan, abruptly grabbing his scythes back to slam it right into the ground.

The symbols detonated synchronously as the Slayer's scythes touched the grounds. I quickly dodged and deflected the nearest emblems away while making my way to Bryan with a new spell in hand.

"Brine King's Wrath; Solaris Sins!" I yelled.
