Evils Of Humanity Skilltree

"That's horrifying to know that you are peeking into my memories without me knowing... And I finally solved the mystery on how Mavislin has got a wooden toy train track hidden in the Library," said Raiyen, inching away from the Kitsune.

While the three men were discussing Tomoe's adventure, I was busy double-checking the Kitsune's claims with Vania's archives. Everything seems to check out, even down to the Dryad's weakness of young children.

"So you want me to give Lizzie the Woodworking Skill by letting her use Avarice on my Woodwork?" asked Tomoe, finally calling me into the chat.

"Yes, if it isn't a problem for you. You can call it a courting gift if you'd like," said Bryan.

"But is it a guarantee that she'll get the Skill? There might be things we don't know about this Avarice Skill... And it's the first time I've heard of such a thing..." asked Raiyen, skeptical about my powers.

Mate, if you weren't so sure about my powers, then why'd you tag along from the start? Honestly... You don't just come on board with people you've no clue about on a journey as dangerous as this Mission. This ain't a cruise ship, you know.

"It's part of the Evils Of Humanity Skilltree. Only those who have the Darkness Element would have access to that Skilltree. The Evils Of Humanity Skilltree is based on the Seven Deadly Sins of Humanity. Avarice is the highest rank of the Branch called Gluttony."

"You wouldn't have known that fact if you weren't a frequent user of the Darkness Element," explained Duncan, finally appearing in the chat room.

I almost forgot about the kid... You can't blame me. He is too quiet for his safety. The stealth ninja of the Pillars... He could've been a good ally with me in my previous life.

"Well, I don't have the Darkness Element, so that I wouldn't have known about that Skill tree. Also, it's horrifying to know that the Evils of Humanity can be turned into a Skillset," answered Raiyen, glancing at the skinny boy.

"So you haven't used the Darkness Element before?" asked Duncan, tilting his head.

"Look, kid, I'm a Time Mage that can use two other Elements as well. I'm already a cheat, so I don't have the need to use the Darkness Element," said Raiyen, trying to dismiss Duncan's claims.

"It's not about needing to use that Element... It's about having to use it before. And best to my knowledge, you are a Founder, and the rest of your friends can use the Darkness Element in some shape or form," argued Duncan.

Raiyen widened his eyes in disbelief at the kid... Who was he to judge the leader of the Vigilante?

"How do you know if the rest of us can use the Darkness Element? Have you been spying on us?" questioned Raiyen, as I felt a chill down my spine.

Yo, either the temperature has dipped, or some fight will start between these two skinny boys.

"Mother Mavislin's Heaven's Wheel Alter Spell Set. The High Queen Meslander's Opal and Onyx Wings inspired my Blood Mastery's name. Headmaster Gillian's Element allows him to use the Darkness at will, and Black Lotus of the Storm's base Element is Darkness."

"I don't think I need to state what Baldwin can do since it's pretty obvious. I have a keen sense of smell, and though all the Founders have distinct scents, with Mother Mav always smelling like Lavender and firewood, there's always another scent mixed into the pile."

"So what does the Darkness Element smell like?" I asked, curious about the boy and his nose.

"There are different variants of the Darkness Element. Based on your Avarice, I smell hunger."

Huh? How the hell can a person smell hunger? How does that work? I looked at Duncan as if he had grown another head.

"Not all items can be used to describe a scent. Listen, when I inhale the scent of your Skill of Avarice, I feel super hungry and annoyed as it should be since Avarice is the furthest point of the Branch for Gluttony. But if I were talking about Baldwin, I would say he would smell of rotting flesh."

The mere mention of the last two words made me gag. I was so lucky that I didn't have a powerful nose like the poor Dementor Pillar.

"That description of Baldwin's scent should be right, but do you smell that even if he doesn't show his powers?" asked Raiyen.

"Yes, I smell that rotting odor even if he concealed his Element. I don't particularly appreciate sitting near him at the dining table. And the only reason I don't want to join his Ark. I can't say I blame Baldwin since his Element is Necrosis, the epitome of rotting flesh," reasoned Duncan.
