Mordred Vs Bryan

"The Barren Pillars... I'm assuming that you know Mavislin Roydon? The infamous Valkyrie that liberated the underground camps at the Albion Domain a few months back? And the one who destroyed the entire row of villages in the Campania a century ago?"

Mordred's voice sounded passive-aggressive as she described Mavislin's notable achievements.

"Uhm... Yes, I know who Mavislin is since she is my boss and the liberation of the Infinite Experiments in Albion, but I have no clue about the third claim of her wiping out villages," said Bryan puzzled.

"She is who I am looking for... That Valkyrie... Was the cause for all this pain of mine!" roared Mordred, slamming her foot into the ground.

Bryan backed away with trepidation but remained on guard to combat the Black Knight's next round of attacks. Meanwhile, Mordred's anger was increased by the Tick as she gripped her sword with both hands in fury.

"Had she not roped me in with her thoughts and mess... Had she not asked to rebel against my father... I wouldn't have died! I would've been living the life of a Knight!" shouted Mordred, suddenly springing in front of Bryan.

The Slayer was taken aback at such speeds that his emergency move, Stars of the Shield, sprang up because his reflexes were still on the slow side. But the shield only lasted for split Tick as Bryan was forced to block the Black Knight's flurry of attacks.

Despite being weighed down by such a bulky armor set, the Black Knight was agile in exchanging a flurry of attacks against the Slayer's scythes. Bryan cursed as he had severely underestimated his opponent, knowing fully well that he would be at the receiving end of this battle.

After two Ticks of the onslaught, the two backed away to catch their breaths. Mordred looked furious and in a frenzy, while Bryan was calculated and worried. Then, finally, the Black Knight sprang into action again, stabbing her sword into the ground.

Thinking it was an opening, Bryan quickly leaped from his position and tried to strike Mordred's legs, only to have the latter jump up at the last Tick. Impossible... The Black Knight was handstanding on the pommel of the sword?! With difficulty increased, Bryan moved back.

Mordred quickly spun herself to spin horizontally to kick Bryan in the back, making the Slayer fly across the room. Bryan cursed as he recovered from the smash, rubbing his sore back. The Slayer honestly did not expect the Black Knight to be so quick and agile.

Bryan then got up and took in a deep breath. While having that breath, he closed his eyes and focused his Elemental Energy to start recovering from the injury. But the Black Knight was quick to see what Bryan was doing and sent another attack his way.

The Black Knight thrust her sword towards Bryan's chest like a spear, striking with such power that it felt like a nail hammered into a wooden plank. Luckily, Bryan was on high alert and blocked the deadly attack by crossing his twin scythes across his chest.

The Slayer clenched his teeth as he was being pushed back by the sheer force of the sword, not expecting the Black Knight to use such a tactic. But, noticing how her sword attack was blocked, Mordred instantly appeared at her sword again, scaring Bryan.

"I wouldn't have to endure the pain of being recreated like this! I wouldn't have to work for a rich man who can't fight! That Mavislin... I will find and kill her, even if it means I destroy everything she has worked for! I will never forgive that Valkyrie for turning me into a monster!" shouted Mordred.

The Black Knight kicked at the sword's pommel, sending the Slayer and sword a short distance back. Bryan said nothing as he remained focused on both the blade and Mordred, unknowing of what trick she would pull off next.

The instant he felt the blade lose its power, Bryan took the chance and disengaged the weapon, flicking it high up in the air. The Slayer decided to look up at that moment, following the sword as Mordred leaped from her side to grab onto the blade in midair.

The Black Knight horizontally spun as she came down and clashed with Bryan, who was ready to block the attack. But this time, Bryan used the left scythe to hook onto Mordred's sword instead of using both scythes. The Slayer then bent his body backward and slid underneath the falling Knight.

As he did, Bryan made sure to tug onto the chains and caused the Black Knight to smash down onto the floor since his left scythe was still hooking onto the blade. Mordred's body was so heavy that it caused a crater on the floor when she touched the ground.
