Mordred Vs 'Mavislin'

"You look terrified despite being so cross with me, Treacherous Knight," taunted a familiar voice as golden dust fluttered by Mordred's vision.

The Knight barely had enough time to dodge the Valkyrie's sudden attack as she was forced to roll away. Mordred growled as she got back up and dashed towards her opponent. But, to her horror, Mavislin merely stood there and caught the blade with two fingers.

The Valkyrie smiled as Mordred realized her mistake and quickly tried to yank the blade out. But Mavislin was faster as she changed her grip on the sword to pull it towards herself, bringing Mordred forward and into her waiting kick.

The Knight convulsed as she flew away with the Valkyrie following her. Mordred mustered up the strength to move her body and stabbed her blade into the ground, forcing a halt to the throw.

Mavislin smirked as she placed her hands onto the floor, launching herself upwards and over the Knight. Unfortunately, Mordred found that she had no time to take out her blade to protect herself when Mavislin spun in midair and tunneled towards her with a punch.

Her only option was to roll away again, and it was lucky for Mordred to do so as she saw what a Valkyrie's force could do. The result was a giant crater the size of a ship.

The Knight of Rebellion got up and back into her battle stance while Mavislin straightened her back and turned her head to look at her enemy.

"Ah... That's so typical of you, Mordred. Always fearful of the unknown... Well now, do you see the damage that I can do? Do you still want to fight me?" questioned Mavislin as she stuck out her arm and drew more power into her hands.

The Knight of Rebellion shifted her grip, activating a massive pillar of black Elemental Energy to engulf her blade. The Valkyrie laughed as she witnessed Mordred's determination to kill her.

"Since you are so hell-bent on defeating me... Then I will show no mercy to you. I shall show you the wrath of a Valkyrie."

"Bring it on! You are simply an illusion here, and the Slayer can't keep this dream for long... And I am the strongest here! I'm not afraid of someone who ran away from the rebellion!" shouted Mordred as she took a step forward.

Mavislin's Elemental Aura blossomed into a rainbow of colors while streams of matching color Elemental Energy danced around her figure.

"You are right about one thing. The Slayer controls this place. But one thing you failed to realize is that this thing is also Bryan's memories. So whatever spell I had performed in his eyes would be shown here. Luckily for you, my underlings have seen my Original Spell at full force."

"So let's have some fun, Knight of Rebellion," announced Mavislin as the streams of Elemental Energy solidified into a claymore sword in her hands.

The sword's blade was adorned with flowery designs and glimmered gold despite being silver. The guard was in the shape of feathered wings colored in gold, while the handle and pommel were black.

As the sword fully materialized, the Valkyrie grabbed it with a single hand and twirled around, showing off her skills as an experienced fighter. Mordred scoffed as she raised her sword above her head.

"You can swing your sword however you'd like, but it will never impress me... I don't fight like a Knight, and you know it best, Valkyrie," said Mordred.

"I'm not trying to impress someone that got killed by a mere teenager... I'm here to show you that you might be wrong for working with Fabian Brookes, a killer of children. It doesn't make sense that you are siding with a monster when you felt sorry for the child earlier."

"Thus, I'm here to give you a wake-up call," answered Mavislin as she took a step forward.

"So you want me to tell you the reason for siding with that madman?" asked the Knight.

"Yes... Because you and I both know that Fabian is a foul creature that twists happiness into sorrows by committing those who are vulnerable to words. That's why I don't get it... So why do you work for someone as disgusting as him?!" shouted Mavislin as Bryan's voice shone through.

Hang on... If the Valkyrie was saying about Fabian Brookes within this dream, that means Bryan was fighting me using the guise and power of Mavislin, thought the Knight. It wasn't much, but at least she knew she was still fighting the Slayer and not the real deal.

Mordred smirked before she threw her head back and roared with laughter.

"If you want the answer that badly... Then you have to beat it out of me!" yelled the Knight in madness.
